NARS Santa Monica Blvd High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a bright white with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage in one pass, which applied evenly and never tugged on my lower lash line, though there was a bit of unevenness in the application on my lower water line. The pencil had a smooth, lightweight texture that wasn’t too creamy nor was it too firm that it tugged. This shade stayed on well for eight hours on my lower lash line and six hours on my lower waterline.

The formula is supposed to have "12-hour wear' that is "humidity-proof," "sweat-proof, "water-resistant, and "transfer-resistant" paired with "high pigment." The texture definitely felt a bit gel-like, as intended, as the product glided across my skin without tugging or dragging, and the pigmentation seemed a bit inkier and richer. They're creamier--but not too creamy--than previous iterations of the formula, and they wore significantly better than most of NARS' pencils have for me.
Some shades lasted longer than others, but most shades were semi-opaque to opaque in pigmentation, comfortable to apply, went on evenly, and were easy to use. Most lasted for eight to ten hours on my lower lash line with wear on my water line being six to eight hours in most instances. They didn't fade/thin on me cleanly; they did migrate to the outer corner (occasionally the inner corner), though.

The Strip
NARS The Strip High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a bright, shiny silver with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented in a single stroke, which adhered fairly evenly, but I noticed that it had a tendency to move a bit when layered, e.g. if applied in short, more overlapping strokes (usually how I apply my eyeliner for more controlled application). The texture was smooth, creamy, and seemed to have more slip than most shades in the range, though it did not reach the point where it felt “wet” or took forever to set. It lasted well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

NARS Rue Bonaparte High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a soft, yellowed beige with warm undertones and a matte finish. It seemed a few shades darker than the last iteration of this shade (in the previous eyeliner formula). It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to my lower lash line and lower waterline in a single stroke. The texture was creamy, smooth, and more gel-like, as it had good glide but didn’t feel too wet or slippery on my skin. It wore nicely for nine hours on my lower lash line and six and a half hours on my lower water line.

Shades like Rue Bonaparte come in so handy for the lower waterline! I’d really like to have this one for usage with red or pink hued eyes looks.
The other two just don’t float my boat, as the saying goes.
The Strip and Santa Monica Blvd look awesome ! I miss my old silver liner , so this may be a good replacement .
