NARS Outrage, Color Me, Love Me Do Lip Glosses Reviews & Swatches
Outrage
NARS Outrage Lip Gloss ($26.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a medium peach with warm, orange undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly, though it pulled into my lip lines noticeably. The gloss had a lightweight, smooth consistency that was thin and lightly tacky, which made spreading it a bit more difficult compared to the average gloss (usually thicker). It lasted for three hours on me and was lightly moisturizing while worn.
Per the brand (when checked this week), their gloss formula is designed with “sheer intensity,” and the newest shade extensions didn’t come with blurbs about fuller coverage, unfortunately. The new shades release February 14th.

When NARS launched their reformulation of the Lip Gloss range, the coverage was described as "sheer shine to bold luster," but as of February 2019, the brand simply describes the coverage as "sheer intensity." That's not really accurate, as the range does, actually, range from sheer to more opaque--it greatly depended on the shade. The formula is also supposed to be "smooth" and "nourishing." Some shades applied evenly, while others pulled into lip lines or looked streaky. The consistency was thinner, lightly tacky (with some additional tackiness developing over time), but it was comfortable and lightly hydrating over time. I wish the applicator pulled more product out per application, which would make it a bit easier to spread the product out overall.
There did not seem to be any taste or scent to the formula.

Color Me
NARS Color Me Lip Gloss ($26.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a soft lavender with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage (as expected based on product claims), which could have applied more evenly. For as pale and as milky as the gloss was, it didn’t pull into my lip lines as badly as I would have guessed it would. The consistency was thinner and not as easily spread as the average gloss. It wore well for three hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Love Me Do
NARS Love Me Do Lip Gloss ($26.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink with subtle, cool undertones and a cream finish. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly but settled into and emphasized my lip lines. The shiny finish paired with the brighter, richer color made the settling less noticeable in person. It stayed on well for four hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.

Color Me is not as lavender in the cool sense as I would have liked. Love Me Do would look great as a topper over some of my fav bright summer lip colours.
No, nope, nada. These are either ridiculously lip-line (1st and 3rd) or will cause my already somewhat cyanotic lips to appear even more dead! ?
