NARS New Attitude Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

NARS New Attitude Blush ($29.00 for 0.16 oz.) is described as a “cherry blossom pink.” It’s a light-medium, blue-based bright pink with a satin-matte finish. Tarte Dollface (P) is less blue-based. Urban Decay Quickie (LE) is brighter. MAC Pure Femininity (LE, $21.00) is similar. theBalm Argyle (P, $22.00) is also similar. Edward Bess Bed of Roses (P, $43.00) is not as cool-toned. theBalm Down Boy (P, $21.00) is lighter. NARS Angelika (P, $29.00) is darker, sparkly. Bobbi Brown Pastel Pink (P, $26.00) is slightly darker. See comparison swatches

It was nicely pigmented, and the texture was soft, finely-milled, and blendable–but it was a little powdery. On the skin, it didn’t look powdery, though, so just be careful of excess in the pan and before you apply, particularly if you’re on the fairer side. If you are cooler-toned with pink undertones, this blush is going to look pinker and cooler-toned against your complexion. Because of my medium complexion, my yellow undertones really come through when it’s applied to cheeks, which makes the blush appear warmer (this and Love look very similar on me). New Attitude lasted for eight hours on me before showing signs of fading.

I think most of us are just naturally drawn to certain types of shades, and the next thing we know, we have a dozen of the same product, LOL! I just stick to a limited amount of brands, and that seems to help. Unless something *really* stands out, I don’t stray.

This shade looks incredible on you! It really brings out your eyes and highlights your complexion. I think Love and New Attitude photograph quite differently on you. They both look stunning but I can see much more warmth in Love in your complexion.

Hi Christine,
How does the texture compare to Nars Gina? Is it as soft?
What about the sheen? Does it give a similar sheen?
Looks like it might be similar to Bobbi’s Pink Rose.

Thanks for getting these up, you’re always the first to give us the scoop 🙂

How does this compare to Nars Desire? Is New Attitude lighter or darker than Desire? Thanks! Looks beautiful on you, and I will definitely be checking it out soon!

I have Deep Throat and would love to try a pink blush. Now I’m torn between New Attitude and Gaiety. Which one do you think would work best for me? I am fair-skinned with warm undertone.
