NARS Behave Blush Review & Swatches
Behave
NARS Behave Powder Blush ($30.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a muted, light-medium pink with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had buildable coverage from semi-opaque to opaque (two layers). The texture was smooth to the touch but slightly thinner, and while it didn’t darken too much when applied on bare skin, I would recommend applying it over more matte skin (as opposed to dewy skin or dewy bases!) to avoid the color deepening and potentially becoming harder to blend. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

From NARS’ website, their blush formula is described as “beautifully pigmented” and “soft [and] blendable.” NARS' blushes, since they've been released in such a massive range of shades over the years, can vary from shade to shade to some degree. Most shades are pigmented with firmer, slightly stiffer consistencies that can also run on the thinner side, which allows greater control when picking up product but some of the more matte shades could be a bit more blendable or easier to work with.
Some of the more newly-released shades have softer, more yielding textures that are a bit creamier and are easier to blend out, though most of NARS' blushes are fairly blendable. The wear typically ranges from eight to nine hours with a few shades falling above or below this range.

It’s a pretty enough blush for everyday wear. But not something I’m going to run out and buy, though. I have Tarte Paaaarty and it serves me well enough as an everyday type of shade.
I like this shade very much. It seems like an easy, flattering, everyday goes-with-almost-everything kind of shade.
I really like this shade because I think the colour suits me and would be flattering on many. The matte finish allows other elements of your total look to shine too.
I like the shade. Just wish NARS and other brands would grow up with the shade names.
At least on my phone screen, this reminds me of a matte Orgasm. Fully aware that screens often teflect color accurately.
I like the color which would go well with my coloring.
It’s not like Orgasm at all. I have both and Behave is more of a bright peachy shade on my fair skin. Orgasm is coral.
This was a strong contender for my beauty bucks, but I decided to take a pass. I picked up Sydney Grace Mauve Delight instead.
I’m disappointed because when the initial collection photos came out, I thought this one was on the plum side. I loooove a plum blush and I would love an excuse to buy another one!
Sadly, nothing special and at this point in my collecting, I am only looking for special products. A killer colour, performance off the charts, unique and not a product or shade I have a million of all ready.
