NABLA Cosmetics Lola Skin Glazing Highlighter Review & Swatches
Lola
NABLA Cosmetics Lola Skin Glazing Highlighter Powder ($26.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink-coral with soft, warm undertones and pink and gold pearl over a luminous finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was easy to diffuse and blend out for sheerer coverage, or it could be applied with a lighter hand for more buildable coverage if preferred.
The consistency was smooth to the touch, dense and more firmly-pressed into the pan, which is typical of this type of more baked-gelee kind of formula. It works best with a more moderately dense brush for picking up product evenly, but there’s never any powderiness and the powder almost “melts” on skin for a very seamless finish. This shade stayed on well for nine hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$26.00/0.23 oz. - $113.04 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed have a "mirror effect" and "unexpected brilliance." They have more of a gel-powder base, where it has a slightly drier, firmer feel but not in a bad way, so the product will pick up best with a moderately dense brush (as opposed to something like a fan brush) but have no powderiness.
The range was very pigmented but easy to pick up less product for a sheerer, more buildable effect. They were easy to apply, blended out nicely, and yielded a moderate glow that was smooth and not prone to emphasizing skin texture.

Lately I’ve been obsessed by higlighters. So I am looking to the nabla ones too, even if they are a bit expensive for the amount of product, considering nabla’s usual prices. Moreover they are way too pigmented to be higlighter IMO. They are more blushes. An highlighter with a sheen of that colour would be something fantastic for me, to layer on my other blushes for summer, but for my skin tone the base here it’s defenetely too heavy
Nice shade but almost a bit too “inflamed” looking for me. Still, gorgeous colour and finish and applied lightly it might be great on me.
I’m salivating over this one! It’s stunning.
Having MAC Sweet Vision, and it being one of my most used blushes, makes this no surprise. I’m such a sucker for these types of gold shimmer peachy-pink shades!
It is hard for me to believe that I don’t have one of the dupes for this shade? It is right in my chosen shade range and yet, no dupes. So, this is definitely on my list.
It reminded me a lot of the new Natasha Denona mini Bloom highlighting blush. Maybe they are not dupes, but I think they would look quite similar on the face.
I love seeing the melted-into-skin seamless finish: I wish there was an easier general way of visually identifying that finish now that it’s hard to play with products in person: it can be hard to tell that effect in photos bc it is not easy to differentiate from overall great blending skills–little nuances you can tell better in person by touching and interacting with the product.
I’m going to pass on this particular color bc I have MAC Sweet Vision but this finish and that polymer ingredient seems interesting so I’m going to keep an eye on this brand’s powder products.
A beautiful, all round shade that is softly glowing without looking too shiny. And the formula seems pretty good too.
Oh, wow! It looks almost juicy in the swatch. This would be an absolutely heavenly summer blush.
Gosh, that’s beautiful! A coral blush lover’s dream.
This is one of my favorite makeup formulas for powder based products. I’m looking forward to reading your reviews on the bronzer shades. I hear they’re similar in formula to MUFE bronzers. I have those but I need a better shade for my medium deep tan w/olive undertone skin.
