Milani Dolce Perla Baked Highlighter Review & Swatches
Dolce Perla
Milani Dolce Perla Baked Highlighter ($10.99 for 0.28 oz.) is an ultra-light pink with warmer, more golden sheen that gave it a soft, metallic finish on my skin. The texture was slightly drier, so I’d recommend using a moderately-dense brush to pick up product evenly, though I didn’t have any issues applying and blending out the highlighter on my skin.
It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage–and it was designed to be buildable–that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture when worn at higher coverage levels. This shade stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

I bought this one when everyone on YouTube was hyping it. It’s pretty, but I was disappointed it was not as intense on me as it was on others.
Wow! This is an ultra pretty highlighter! Not one I need since I still have Estee Edit 1st Light and Ofra Covent Garden for my pale icy pink ones.
I think this is the kind of muted highlighter that is very subtle on the cheeks and would give a very soft glow.
I’m so tempted by this but I’ve got dupes from both Dior (sigh…my weakness) and The Estee Edit so unless I’m lucky enough to find it in store (not a whole lot of Milani in Canada), I’ll pass.
Every time I see something that looks like sherbet (and edible, LOL!), I usually am disappointed in the performance because I expect smooth like sherbet, and it isn’t. So since it’s baked and not a cream, I’ll pass.
