Milani Coral Beams Color Harmony Blush Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Coral Beams
Milani Coral Beams Harmony Blush Palette ($13.00 for 0.30 oz.) is supposed to be a “high-impact, buildable blush” that “blends easily” but simultaneously has “richly pigmented shades” that can be used alone or together. The top three sections are larger, but only the top section (the one that often has more shimmer) is truly large enough to accommodate the average blush brush. I think it would be more practical to use two or three shades at a time, rather than only one.
The quality of the powder varied a lot from shade to shade, palette to palette, with some shades being softer and more pliable and others being more firmly pressed and yielded sheerer coverage. The way they are described on Milani’s website is contradictory (at least, in the order/way they said it), but on the back of the compact itself, it says “four pigment-rich and ultra blendable blush tones” and so I am holding the blushes to that: “pigment-rich.” The coverage varied from medium to opaque with most shades within the palettes being blendable. A few shades darkened on me a few minutes after initial application (which was the point where I took photos, so you could see the result). The wear ranged from seven to eight and a half hours on me.
Coral Beams swirled together to create a brighter, medium coppery orange hue with a pearly sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied easily and blended out without issue. When I used all the shades together, the blush color stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading on my cheeks.

Coral Beams #1
Coral Beams #1 is a soft, medium orange with warm undertones and a golden pearl. It had good pigmentation that applied with ease to bare skin–even and blendable–paired with a soft consistency that wasn’t too firm nor was it so soft that it kicked up excess product in the pan. The color lasted for seven and a half hours on me.

Coral Beams #2
Coral Beams #2 is a muted, medium copper with warm, reddish undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque, while the texture was a bit firmer in the pan and took a heavier hand to dislodge product from the surface. It blended out without much work and sat well on the skin. The blush showed signs of fading after seven and a half hours of wear.

Coral Beams #3
Coral Beams #3 is a soft, light-medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had medium coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with two to three layers. I noticed this shade darkened quite a bit on me, almost like it turned pinker and brighter. The texture was stiffer in the pan, which made getting product onto the brush a challenge but seemed to blend out just fine. It wore well for eight hours on me.

Coral Beams #4
Coral Beams #4 is a medium, peachy coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had a soft, blendable consistency that yielded good color payoff. It was just shy of being opaque, but it was easily built up by patting a touch more on top of the initial layer. The blush could be sheered out and diffused for less coverage if desired as it was quite forgiving. This shade lasted for eight hours on me before fading.

I like the colour of this all mixed together!! It looks super pretty!!!
We have such a small selection of Milani here, It’s only at Rexal. And even then it’s a small end of the isle booth. SIGH!
Mixed together, it’s quite lovely!
Wow, these are pretty! Kind of pricey for a DS blush, but guess you can always find a sale
I thought it seemed a little up there in price, too!
Why would drugstore mean cheap. For quality, amount of product etc you have to pay. Drugstore is merely a location
Milani is known as an affordable brand – $13 for the blush is significantly higher than their other blushes (Baked Blush and Rose Powder Blush), so it is a jump for the brand and makes it one of their most expensive powder products… actually, it’s one of their most expensive products, period, it seems like? Their foundation is only $10! I skimmed through their site just now and only saw a few products listed at $13 and did not see anything higher – but the majority of items are significantly under $13.
In beauty, price has little to do with quality or quantity, IMO! It’s typically a branding choice – kind of like Tom Ford charges $50+ for lipstick but you can still find great lipstick for under $10.
When I saw the title of the post, I thought it was going to be a palette with multiple pans. Ha! Tricked me! =)
This looks ok, though. I love a nice coral blush!
I’m a sucker for a peachy coral blush. I keep telling myself “no more”, lol, but I think I like this!!!……dammit?
The design and layout look nice, reminds me of a seashell. The one thing I have an issue with is how these all-in-one type of cheek products wear down when the formula between each shade is inconsistent. Had it happen with others in the past, so I’m not ?% sure.
I just went on the Milani website — it looks like the Color Harmony blushes have different names — #1 is Pink Play, #2 is Bronze Burst, #3 is Coral Beams, and #4 is Berry Burst. Not sure if that corresponds to the products Temptalia reviewed, but it is a lot less confusing! 🙂
Hi Iris,
The palette is called Coral Beams, but there are four shades within the compact, but they do not have names. In order to organize them, they are “named” #1, 2, 3, and 4. Milani did not name the individual shades within each blush compact.
I love Milani blushes, and they always do stunning corals. This looks like no exception. The price is quite a bit higher than I would have guessed, but at least drug store stuff frequently goes on sale.
When I bought them, I was thinking it was going to be a larger compact (more like an oversized bronzer or something).
Considering it says “palette,” that’s understandable.
It’s not what I would really call a ‘palette’ and seems expensive for DS. I’m going to pass.
That’s how they’re labeling it, so that’s why I called it the same!
Mixed together is quite nice.
It is!
I’m really impressed because this type of mixed pan product has a tendency to be powdery and dry/hard to pick up colour.
I’m not surprised by the price increase and it takes more labour to get this multicolour product right as well. 😉
I expected it to be more expensive than regular blush or at least larger for the price point. I think if it was easier to use them individually, the price would be more palatable (for me).
Cannot wait until in stores!
Enjoy!
It’s pretty, I think.
The colours are lovely, and I especially like it mixed together.
It’s easiest to use it mixed, too!
I was just thinking pretty for a $6.00 blush until I saw this was $13 dollars ,lol. What’s up with Milani charging so much?
I have no idea! It is actually one of their highest priced items and there are only a few at the $13 level, lol!
This type of blush palette is my holy grail – I just love being able to swish all the shades together to get a varied look and I love these colours. I saw this online the other day and was wondering about it. Very reasonably priced and Milani does blushes so well.
It’s just perfect with your eye look, love it though I would probably have to be careful not to overdo.
Very pretty! Thanks for listing a U.K. store for purchase!
