This is my all-time favourite contour product. Although the pan is on the small side, a little goes a long way with this stuff. It's also pretty pricey, so I tend to wait until I have a discount coupon or there's a sale before I restock. This powder is pigmented but blendable, easy to work with and just about perfect in terms of the colour - not too cool that I look dead, but not too warm that my contour is orange. I tend to use this in conjunction with a slightly warmer bronzer on the edges of my face to warm me up a little. Really like this - although I wish they made more shades as they do run quite light.

When these first came out, I wasn't sure I believed the rave reviews - but the hype is real. I use the more subtle shade most days for work, as the more glittery shade is not really my style. However, I do use it as an eyeshadow and I do occasionally use it as a highlighter when I'm feelin' extra (not often). The formula is great and I find these last pretty much all day on me. The packaging is lovely and in my opinion they are pretty good value, as I prefer products that I can realistically use up in a lifetime.

On the whole I really enjoy Urban Decay's eyeshadow formula. I find them easy to work with, long-lasting, and the range of colours is great. I would appreciate being able to buy their shadows in a single refill pan, but I don't mind having the single compacts as the packaging is nice enough. I find Free Love to be a little more sheer than some of their other shimmer shades, but I tend to use it over the top of other shadows to add a bit of something extra.

I use ABC Gum as an all-over base shade every single day, have done for a few months with no sign of hitting pan. Would recommend to anyone, especially those with a fair skintone like myself.

This is the first ABH product I've tried, and I'm pretty impressed. The colours are a bit darker than they appear in photos, but they blend out really nicely. They look natural and pretty, although the orange shade is bit more glittery than I like in a blush. For £30 you get 3 moderately sized pans, which for me is good value as it takes me ages to pan a blush. The packaging is gorgeous too, impressive attention to detail, and it makes me happy to see on my vanity. The range of shades offered in this product are fairly good, although the others did not appeal to me as I like a peachy blush.

I love love love this palette. Had it on my wishlist for ages, researching & reviewing the palette and despite the mixed reviews, I bit the bullet and bought it. Fantastic - wish I'd bought it sooner! The colours are right up my alley, warm browns and reds, and the matte-shimmer ratio is great. I can use the more neutral shades for an everyday work look, and the deeper colours on the weekend. The shadows blend really well but without losing their depth or pigment, and I say that as someone who really struggles to get an even blend. The tones are really flattering on me, and despite people claiming that loads of the colours look really similar, they do show up differently enough on the eye to make the price of the palette worth it. I have used this palette pretty much every day since I bought it, the packaging is sturdy enough that I can bash it around when I travel without damaging anything and I would absolutely recommend to other people.

I really enjoy MAC base products, especially their foundations. I have very dry skin and I find this powder does not dry me out or age me at all. I have trouble with every foundation I wear settling into the fine lines on my face and this is no exception, however as it is a powder it tends to settle less than liquid foundations. This foundation is very versatile, the coverage can be built up to suit your preferences and the colour is a very good match for me. I wear C1 in Face & Body and NC20 in the powder as NC15 is just a touch too light. Overall, a great powder foundation, I use this almost every day for work and I love it. Will definitely repurchase when I hit pan!

I love the colour of Plath, it's my perfect dark red-brown without being too brown, but I don't love the formula. Very matte which is a plus but these are SO drying. They are long wearing but not through meals, even non-greasy foods. After a few hours I always get that tell-tale line along my inner lip and they don't always layer easily so it can be a pain to reapply. However, I will persevere because the colour is perfect and they last a very long time.

I find the formula of this extremely powdery and there is a lot of fallout, especially the lighter colours. I appreciate that the base colour is a much bigger pan and I really like the packaging but the shadows themselces are very dry and take some work to blend evenly. Not something I can pick up for a 5 minute look when I'm in a rush but if I take my time the colours do turn out beautifully. Worth mentioning that I have very dry skin so powdery formulas tend to cling to my eyelids in uneven patches, which this one is prone to.

The Stila Eyes are the Window palettes are probably the most used out of all my eyeshadows. I own Spirit and Mind and I use at least one of them every day. The colour story is great, with wearable neutrals as well as some more unique colours so I can create a huge variety of looks from just these palettes. In my opinion they are vastly underrated, these little palettes are fantastic and I find the formula a breeze to work with.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Velvet Teddy is my go-to MLBB shade in a bullet and I wear this at least once a week. It was the first MAC lipstick I bought and I'm now on my third tube. Like the other MAC lipsticks I own this is relatively long wearing and comfortable, not drying and highly pigmented.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Russian red is a lovely bright red that doesn't pull pink on me, which I find to be a problem with most reds as I have yellow undertones. Like the other MAC mattes I own this wears comfortably for long periods of time and does not feather or apply patchy.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Sin is my ideal dark red, not pink at all and extremely pigmented. Applies smoothly and wears for 4+ hours comfortably.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Really pigmented and easy to apply, comfortable to wear and long lasting. I found it difficult to find a true purple lipstick that wasn't a really dark pink, and this fits the bill. Doesn't feather and isn't patchy.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Whirl is a lovely rosy nude that goes with most looks, bold or subtle. As always I love the MAC formula, I find it easy to apply and relatively long lasting for a bullet.

In general I like Maybelline's lipstick formula but I find this shade a disappointment. Streaky and wears off quickly, which is a shame because I like the colour.

Soft Spoken is my perfect MLBB shade. The formula is great, non-drying and for the most part not sticky either. However it is not transfer proof and after 3+ hours that tell-tale line appears on my inner lip. The formula is buildable though so its easy to reapply. Lasts well through 6+ hour shifts in a busy pub. Only tip is to apply in thin layers, because sometimes the formula comes out thicker and more like a lip cream, but shaking the tube helps.

Most metallic liquid lips I've tried have been sticky and more akin to a gloss, but the formula for these is bang on. Dries down fairly quickly to a matte finish, metallic but not glossy at all. Transfer proof and survives eating non-greasy foods. Only complaint is that the shades pull completely differently between individuals, even between people with very similar undertones and colouring, so recommend swatching it in person before you commit.

MAC matte lipsticks are my favourite formula to wear and I find them consistently good across the board. Taupe is the perfect reddy-brown shade that pairs really nicely with warm eyeshadow looks - its become my go-to when I can't decide what to wear. Goes on nicely and lasts for 4 hours easily without touching up. Not drying, very comfortable to wear.
