Marc Jacobs Beauty Gone Bad (216) Lust for Lacquer ($28.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is described as a “coral red.” It’s a bold, bright coral-orange with warm undertones and a glossy finish. Hourglass Muse (P, $28.00) is pinker. MAC Morange (LE, $15.00) is warmer, less red. MAC Ablaze (LE, $15.00) is more muted. Illamasqua Temper (P, $22.00) is lighter, less red. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

This shade is part of the full coverage range, which is quite fitting, as it is intensely pigmented with full opacity. I did notice that it looked almost “bubbled” in places, which I think may be due to the fact that is more light-medium in thickness. The consistency is almost gel-like and creamy, but it doesn’t slide around. It’s not a gloss that feels like you’re wearing. It doesn’t bleed or feather on me, and it lasted for five and a half hours. The formula is mostly non-sticky (just towards the end it feels slightly tacky), is mint-scented, and is lightly hydrating on me.

I love these orangey coral shades. Not always so sure they work well on me, but they’re great for a pop of color. Supermodel Coco Rocha tends to wear shades like this a lot, and I always love how it stands out on her face.

HOT DAMN! 😀 *fans self* The heat coming off that colour is intense! 😀

OK, so there’a a part of me, when I see things like this, that totally wants to make this the first orange I wear. I mean, if you’re going to wear orange, you might as well go all out, right?..

Haivng said that, I’m pretty sure this would wear *me*, not the other way around, LOL!
