Was anyone able to use the 20% off at Sephora in combination with the discounted price for three MUFE Artist Shadows? I had six in my cart, when I added the coupon it removed the two $20 dollar discounts I would have been getting for buying in sets of three.
I understood you couldn’t use more than one coupon code, however the price for the trio isn’t a code! That is the manufacturers decided pricing! Shame on them! What the heck!
🙁

Yeah the site is definitely dealing with tons of traffic. TBH I’m always kind of upset that it takes me hours to be able to place my order b/c you would think they’d do something to stop the crashing since its a planned influx of traffic…idk just my thoughts. Anyway I was able to place my order at 2:45am PST…and now I’m super tired.

Are any of your items showing as “out of stock” or “permanently out of stock” on your order (log into your account to see)?

Sephora canceled an order of like 25 items because 2 were out of stock that I made on the 5th – that I paid extra for 1-day shipping – and they never emailed or informed me the entire order canceled. Customer service via email said my order required “additional processing time,” but when I called customer service, they told me the warehouse canceled it. It’s a very stupid system to 1) not even notify customers, 2) not ship out what IS in stock and let the customer know the rest are out of stock.

There are some, yes, but it was only reflected the following day (7th). I placed my order at about 4am EST. I really hope I did manage to get my stash :/

Did they eventually change the status of your order to ‘CANCELLED’ or stg similar? Currently, mine is still ‘PENDING’. My bank is still holding the amount, though not yet officially charged.

I did email them and was replied with “After careful review of your account, due to the time sensitive nature of your request, we recommend that you call Client Services at 1-877-SEPHORA (1-877-737-4672) once you receive your shipping confirmation email so that we may verify additional information and ensure that your order reaches you” BUT I have yet to get a shipping confirmation, just an order confirmation. And I can’t exactly call them coz I’m from overseas (I use a forwarder).

This is turning to be a nightmare ):

Everything was in-stock when I ordered, but when I looked at my order a few days later (wondering what happened), there were a few things that said out of stock or permanent out of stock. My status hasn’t changed in days:

STATUS: Sent to Warehouse
SHIPPING METHOD: Flash 1 Day
ORDER DATE: November 5, 2014

When I called, they assured me it WAS canceled and that it will take 7-10 days to refund me. Of course, they refused (said they “couldn’t”) send any email that confirms that 1) order was canceled, 2) refund was in progress. They said that when the warehouse cancels the order, the entire order is canceled. I just checked this morning, and I don’t see any pending or prior charges for that particular order. And then just to clarify, I made a second order immediately after (polishes, which go ground and I did 1-day on my first order, that’s why they were separated!), which processed and I’ve since received, as well as two more orders that have shipped out, so it just looks like they have a completely stone age system for dealing with out of stock orders.

If you cannot call, I would just say that you’re unable to phone and prefer to communicate through email.

Thanks for the tips Christine. Appreciate it!. I just received the confirmation (4 days after!). Hopefully it’s not a false alarm, else that would suck so bad. This is the first time I’ve received such a delayed shipping confirmation. I’ve always received one the day after.

I agree with the stone age system. Don’t the warehouses have computers where they can send out notifications whereby an order is cancelled? *Shakes head.

If they did, you could have gotten the chance to reorder the remaining items before those sell out instead.

Also, I don’t also understand why don’t they ship out what’s available first, that’s what beauty.com does. Meh.

I hope you eventually received all your items babe!

Hey Sheena,

Talk about crazy, so after 30-45 minutes of Sephora’s CS assuring me order is canceled, I’ll get a refund in 7-10 days on Friday (the 7th)… yesterday I got an email notification that my order was cancelled AND then they reordered what was still in stock automatically. So almost a week later, when it was a 1-day order (should have been packed and shipped on the 5th), and you know, CS giving totally different (wrong) answers. Luckily, I was able to cancel the reorder, since I had already bought the products elsewhere (that I could) and reordered Sephora-exclusive ones after on Saturday.

Glad you got your notification!

Ditto on the sharing of the “friends” code. If anyone is not using their code, I would greatly appreciate it. I am almost to VIB status and currently have a very full wish-list! BTW, just made a nice beauty.com order and received the 20% discount.

A “pre-thank you” for the generosity 🙂

A very lovely and generous contributor emailed me a code, so “thank you” again 🙂 On a side note, yes, most of the items I wanted were out of stock, but I had no trouble placing my order online.
