Marc Jacobs Beauty Gilty O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer Review & Swatches
Gilty
Marc Jacobs Beauty Gilty O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer ($49.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy gold with warm, rosy undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and finely-milled, which made it easy to pick up with a brush and to blend out on my skin. The slight ridges of the powder made the surface not quite as even, and I found that a soft swirl and press of my brush picked up product the most evenly until those ridges smoothed out (after a few uses). It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and yielded both color (on my complexion, about light to light-medium) and a strong, golden glow. It seemed to emphasize my skin’s natural texture just slightly when worn at semi-opaque or higher coverage. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably. Also, it is an over-sized highlighter, which was the brand’s goal as they stated it was for “face and all-over body use.”

Seems pretty dupable, though the dupes list is filled with Limited Edition. Still, I personally feel like you could only really justify this if you’re a real fan of Marc Jacobs in general and want to support the company (and/or really love the packaging).
Even though I am absolutely in love with this color this gives off, almost duochrome-y, this thing is enormous. When I saw it at our local Sephora, all I could think of was that I would NEVER get to use this sucker up before it went bad or I expired instead! But that gorgeous color makes this sooo tempting.
Would it work on fair to light complexion?
It would give you some color/warmth, so it just depends on if you want that or not!
Is there anything else (blush) on your cheeks in the look? There’s a rosiness to your cheeks and I can’t tell if it’s just from this product alone. Thanks!
All reviews of a cheek product will only have that product on my cheek (obviously the one turned to the camera!)! In the first sentence of the review, I specifically mentioned it had a rosy undertone 🙂
Do you think this is suitable for fair to light skin tone with cool undertone? It’s on sale now at French sephora for 30 euros which is around 27$ and I think that’s a good price, just not sure if it would be to dark for me.
It might not be a highlighter on you – more like a highlighting blush – and it is very warm-toned, so it depends on if you normally wear warmer shades and like them on you, IMO! I believe you can wear whatever you want (truly), but it’s going to end up being more what you like on you!
