The formula is supposed to give “natural looking color” with buildable coverage that wears “all day.” The texture of this shade was much smoother and more finely-milled compared to Golden Lights, and as a result, it didn’t feel dry or powdery, though it was very blendable and easy to work with. It had buildable coverage from semi-sheer to semi-opaque. The shimmer seemed a little more refined as well, so it had more of a light-medium level of sheen that didn’t appear metallic or shiny. On my warmer complexion, it’s a highlighter hue that can work well with many blushes, as it doesn’t alter the color of them much when paired with my skin tone, but very fair and/or cooler skin tones may find it adds some warmth when used. The highlighter lasted seven hours on me before fading noticeably.

This one looks promising for my pale skin as i also like the Laura Mercier Highlight 01, but I still have not bought it.
Hope you can check this one out sometime 🙂
Oh it really does make you look all lit from within, so pretty!
Aww, thank you! 🙂
That one is fairly nice too. Can’t beat it for the price!
Very true 😀
What a lovely and inexpensive alternative for when, or IF, my Laura Mercier Matte Radiance 01 runs out! I like this!
It really could be! 🙂
Lovely, useful colour. Very pretty.
It is a nice one!
This looks nice, not too sparkly, very versatile color, and price is right !
Yay!
Very pretty but I bought Laura Mercier Highlighter #1 quite some time ago and love it. I love the imprint in this one. I would bother me to disturb it. Crazy, I know.
Glad you have Laura Mercier’s! 🙂
It looks really pretty and glowy on your cheeks! Makeup revolution also has a new highlighter (I think) that’s called Pro Illuminate and I heard it’s an almost dupe for the balm’s MaryLou. Could you ever upload swatches of that one and compare it to Mary Lou?? 🙂
Sorry, I don’t have that.
Won’t be purchasing. Avoiding products made in China.
Okay, thanks for sharing!
