Makeup Geek Rendezvous Blush ($9.99 for 0.15 oz. pan; $12.99 for 0.15 oz. compact) is described as a “rosy to medium pink with purple undertones.” It’s a medium-dark, muted, cool-toned pink with a mostly matte finish. Makeup Geek Hanky Panky (P, $9.99) is brighter, more shimmery. MAC Young at Heart (LE, $20.00) is lighter. Clinique Plum Pop (04) (P, $21.00) is more shimmery, slightly brighter. NARS New Attitude (LE, $29.00) is lighter, warmer. Milani Delizioso Pink (10) (P, $7.99) is brighter, cooler-toned. Urban Decay Quickie (LE) is brighter, lighter. theBalm Down Boy (P, $21.00) is lighter. NARS Angelika (P, $29.00) has more sparkle. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

This shade had good color payoff that strikes a good balance between true-to-pan pigmentation and ease of application, because it doesn’t feel like the merest touch of the brush yields too much product. If you prefer sheerer color or you’re very fair, you’ll want to use a light hand with it, but it’s a color that should work well on most skin tones. The finish is nearly-matte, but as it is buffed and blended onto the skin, it almost becomes a satin-matte–there’s a natural finish to it that keeps skin from looking too flat. The texture was soft, finely-milled, though not quite as buttery as other shades–a bit thinner. I wore this and the color lasted well for nine hours before fading softly along the outer edges.

I did not pick this one up as I felt I had this cooler plum/rose zone adequately covered. The three blushes I love from this collection are Love Affair, Head over heels, and Spellbound. Love affair is the most unique to my blush collection and the most dramatic, but it’s stunning!!! Can’t go wrong in the quality/price department on these.

isn’t marlena allergic to talc? this whole collection is drop dead gorgeous. each one looks better than the last on you. then one looks at the last one…. some days i think you flatter them more than they flatter you! MUG is going to be in heavy production mode for the foreseeable future.

They do, and the delivery is very speedy. I think I got my order in less then a week. From my one time (so far) experience I can recommend ordering from them. Postage was about $9, not bad at all.

I’ll have to pick this one up next Makeup Geek order, don’t know how I missed it when I order(Hanky Panky, Secret Admirer, Love Affair). I am very impressed with the quality of this line of blushes.

I will have to order a couple of the MUG blushes. They seem so good, and the price is hard to beat for that quality.
This one gives you a very natural flush, Christine. I like it a lot!
