Hot Coco Bish
MAC Hot Coco Bish Dazzleglass ($20.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light-medium, golden brown with warm undertones and flecks of gold sparkle. It had more of a smattering of sparkle than what I’d expect for the Dazzleglass formula, which is, as the name might suggest, supposed to be rather dazzling. The consistency was light-medium in thickness with moderate tackiness, though it was spreadable and hydrating while worn. It had semi-sheer coverage, which is fairly in line with how it’s marketed. The gloss lasted for four hours on me.

Formula Overview
$20.00/0.06 oz. - $333.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "medium coverage" with a "non-sticky, lightweight and moisturizing" texture that can be worn "alone" or over another lip color. They are vanilla-scented like most of the brand's lip products. The coverage can vary from shade to shade but most Dazzleglasses are semi-sheer to medium in coverage with light to moderate amounts of larger sparkles. They usually have a mix of finer pearl and larger sparkle/micro-glitter in them, though the consistency is thicker and helps prevent the feeling of glitter on the lips. The one thing I find to be untrue about their claims is with respect to tackiness--Dazzleglasses are absolutely tacky and moderately at that. Most shades last between four and six hours and are lightly hydrating.

Ride My Sleigh
MAC Ride My Sleigh Dazzleglass ($20.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, medium red with warm undertones and flecks of red and gold sparkle. It had medium coverage, as expected based on the formula’s description, that covered somewhat unevenly, though it didn’t seem to gather in my lip lines noticeably. The consistency was thicker, so I didn’t feel the texture from the sparkles in it. While MAC claims it’s non-sticky, I find Dazzleglass to be one of the tackier formulas on the market. On me, it wore well for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Santa Got Moneyyy
MAC Santa Got Moneyyy Dazzleglass ($20.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a gold-tinted base with flecks of medium-dark sparkle. It had the most sparkle of the glosses in the launch–more medium in “coverage” with a translucent base. The texture was light-medium in thickness with a tacky feel on my lips, which I found spreadable and smooth, so it wasn’t uncomfortable for me and kept the sparkles suspended in the gloss base (rather than me feeling the texture of them). The gloss stayed on nicely for five hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Wait…Dazzleglasses only have 0.06oz in them?? What a ripoff, that’s barely more than half the size of a Lipglass!
Oh no… I was really hoping to get Ride My Sleigh or Hot Coco Bish. But wouldn’t you know it? I have It’s Just Candy and Oh Baby already!
Beautiful shades, especially Ride My Sleigh.
I really wish these were opaque! I see their prettiness as is, but I can get “halfway”, hint of color glosses like these at the drugstore.
Can you recommend some opaque gold glosses (and lipsticks) off the top of your head? That is what I really want for holiday.
Bite Gold Creme Gloss! Too Faced Melted Gold is also super opaque but very sticky.
Thank you! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Moneyyyy and Sleigh are so very pretty but I have enough sparkley lip gloss type products already.
Hot Coco Bish, Santa Got Moneyyy … full marks for awful names 🙁
Agreed
I had to get Ride My Sleigh. I love a red gloss with a good tint that I can wear alone or over a lipstick. I though I’d like Hot Coco Bish more, but I think its just OK. I passed on it. I’m passing on Santa Got Moneyyy because I recently bought CP Hypno Tease, and I think one super-glittery gold is enough for me.
