MAC Glass Slipper Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a “light milky pink with pinkish pearl.” It’s a translucent, milky light pink with fine silver and pink shimmer. Applied, you can see the milkiness as it lightens my natural lip color. It has a noticeable amount of shimmer, but it’s not a lot. It’s a subtler gloss than you’d expect, given how shimmery it appears in the tube. The gloss lasted for three hours on me. MAC has put out a lot of barely-there, shimmery kind of glosses, and I think they can be pretty and often look more sparkling (and interesting) in person than in photos. I’d love to have seen a little more pigment in the base, especially since the lipsticks are on the sheer side, too. Maybelline Blushing Petal (505) (P, $8.99) is darker. MAC Poetic (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery. MAC On Cue (LE, $22.00) is warmer. MAC Beautiful Moves (LE, $22.00) is similar. Illamasqua Exquisite (P, $24.00) is more pigmented. Chanel Songe (191) (LE, $29.50) is similar. Chanel Eau de Rose (86) (LE, $27.00) is similar. Guerlain Star Dust (900) (LE, $30.00) is similar. MAC Soft Spoken (LE, $15.00) is sheerer. MAC Happily Ever After Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a “cool milky pink with bluish pearl.” It has a milky, pinky-white base with lots of bluish-teal sparkle and finer silver shimmer. This one was interesting, and anyone who tends to gravitate towards really sparkly glosses might like it. I think it looks more complex in person than it looks in photos, as the pearl is noticeably blue-tinged. It had semi-sheer color at most, but the milky base settled into lip lines, unfortunately. I was surprised this wasn’t called Glass Slipper, as the blue pearl reminded me of them. It wore well for three hours. Maybelline Blushing Petal (505) (P, $8.99) is finer shimmer, pinker. MAC Beautiful Moves (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery. MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 (LE, $15.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Reckless Desire (LE, $15.00) is similar. MAC Playful Petal (LE, $20.00) is pinker. Guerlain Star Dust (900) (LE, $30.00) is less sparkly. Bobbi Brown Firefly (P, $24.00) is more shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

When I was looking at the lipglass swatches in the sneak peak I was astounded that they named the blue sparkly one Happily Ever After instead of Glass Slipper! I apperciate sheer lip glosses, but I think that they need either decent pigmentation or tons of unique sparkles because for the price it shouldn’t just be a clear lip gloss. I’m really digging HEA, but I’ll pass on Glass Slipper since I have Clearwater.

I agree. Maybe they could have 1 shade that’s more traditional Cinderella ( a pretty pink gloss) and another one that’s more OTT for a bolder look (crazy silver blue sparkles to evoke the blue dress and glass slipper). And the packaging needs more oomph

The packaging isn’t the most bland I’ve seen by MAC, but there could have been more creativity design than just the logo plopped on. I think about last years Maleficent collection when they had the logo plus her wings in the background. Then when I look at this years Disney collection I thought if they could have had the logo and her glass slipper somewhere in the background it would have been perfect!

I like Happily Ever After. These were less dissapointing than the lipsticks. At least I can see these. I think they would look great over other lipsticks.

i see how you always put two watched on the hand or two lip swatch pictures that look the same but are slightly different and i was just wondering what the difference in the swatches is. thanks!

Blue/teal sparkle in glosses gets me every time. (OT, can I just add Reflects Teal to every gloss I own?? Is that safe? Lol) I agree about the name, though! The teal sparkle would fit the movie’s promo image of the glass slipper perfectly.
