MAC Artful Lipglass ($22.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is described as a “soft mid-tone coral.” It’s a muted, medium pink-coral with pink shimmer. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied fairly evenly, though it settled slightly into lip lines (but it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance). The texture was medium-weight, tacky, and neither hydrating nor drying. It wore well for four hours on me. Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto (P, $22.00) is lighter. MAC Stoke the Flame (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery, pinker. NARS Stolen Kisses (P, $26.00) is pinker, brighter. MAC Be Nice (P, $22.00) is pinker. MAC Everlasting Nude (LE, $19.50) is darker, warmer, less shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

MAC Knockout Lipglass ($22.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright orange-red.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark orange-red with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. There is a tiny, tiny amount of old shimmer that is hard to see. It had semi-opaque color coverage with a moderate translucency that enables the natural lip color to come through. There is very, very minor settling, but it wasn’t noticeable unless you were looking closely in the mirror. It had a medium-weight, sticky consistency that helped it wear a little longer than average, as it topped in at five hours. This is a repromote. NARS Eternal Red (P, $26.00) is lighter. Shiseido Lust (RD305) (P, $25.00) is more opaque. Maybelline Signature Scarlet (020) (P, $8.99) is redder. Revlon Fire (P, $7.49) is redder. Chanel Exces (P, $32.00) is slightly redder. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The packaging felt extremely lightweight, and the packaging for the glosses felt the cheapest to me overall. They also contain 0.01 fl. oz. less than full-sized Lipglasses.

Wow, minus the containers and packaging, these are Beautiful! I truly adore the way the first, Artful, completely made your own lips look their color but an exceptionally moist and smooth, slightly brightened version. Looks so natural on you. I like the other as well. It made me finally see you’re wearing a LE sunset liner, thank you. The gloss really made that stand out! Is it just me or are these things able to lean neutral? All of her/mac stuff is looking like that. What was the reason for this collection, may I please ask, if there was any? Thank you, beautiful! Muah! I may be picking up something.. Who knows.. I’m really trying to use what I have, notice it at least, and not add unless it really is unlike anything and I see getting good wear. As far as LE stuff.. Re-promotes are a constant.. And you are the dupelyopedia.. So.. 🙂

The shimmer in Artful is wicked awesome! 😀 THE LIPLINES THOUGH, AUGH! OK, I know you wouldn’t see it from normal viewing distance. But I’m twitchy like that, as you know 😉 I guess the tradeoff for me would be – you don’t see the liplines at normal distance…but do you see the shimmer at normal distance? If I have to look up close to admire the pretty shimmer (not something I mind doing, incidentally), will my fun be ruined by the liplines?

Also: how much can one overthink a single nude lipgloss? 😉
