MAC Rising Star Opalescent Highlighter Review & Swatches
Rising Star
MAC Rising Star Opalescent Highlighter ($34.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a medium, coppery bronze with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, slightly denser texture that was more firmly-pressed in the pan but not to the point where it became stiff. Instead, it didn’t have any powderiness or excess kicked up, which made it easier to work with and control how much product was picked up with my brush. It applied evenly to my skin and blended out with minimal effort. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Gorgeous coppery bronzey cheek color! I can safely say that this why I probably don’t need it: dupes, because I tend to love these sorts of shades!
That is a lovely shade and it looks very pretty on you Christine. It has quite a soft finish and doesn’t come across as being too orangey either.
I would love it as an eyeshadow shade….
So pretty – it has a lovely sheen/finish. Too warm toned for me but I’m actually tempted nevertheless…. But what I’m really holding my breath for is your review of the Chanel quad. I’m actually hoping it’s not so great (though I fear I’m wrong) because if it’s good, I’ll want it and there’s no longer a Chanel counter anywhere near where I live.
