MAC Refresh Mineralize Skinfinish Duo ($33.00 for 0.32 oz.) contains two shades, which are most easily considered a bronzer and highlighter. This set of shades was less powdery than Jolly Good, but it was still slightly powdery and didn’t wear quite as long as the average cheek colors do.

Bronzer is described as a “light summer peach tan.” It’s a medium, yellowed brown with warm, orange-yellow undertones and a satiny sheen. It had fairly good color payoff, and it wasn’t too powdery, so most of the color stayed on the skin as applied, rather than disappearing when you went to blend it. The color lasted for six and a half hours before fading. MAC Delphic (LE, $33.00) is more shimmery, lighter. Divergent Intelligent Bronze (LE) is yellower. MAC Love, Rihanna (LE, $25.00) is more matte. MAC Hibiscus Kiss Bronzer (LE, $25.00) is darker. Burberry Copper Glow (P, $48.00) is darker, more matte. Dior Pink Glow Bronzer (LE) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Highlighter is described as a “golden pink.” It’s a champagne-peach with warm undertones with a frosted sheen. It had good color payoff, was slightly powdery, but it adhered fairly well. It does emphasize pores and any imperfections on the skin. The highlighter lasted for six hours on me before starting to look faded and patchy. Sephora + Pantone Universe Spanish Villa (LE) is lighter, cooler-toned. IT Cosmetics Hello Light (P, $24.00) is lighter. MAC Fairly Precious (LE, $30.00) is more orange. MAC Sparkling Rose (LE) is lighter. Urban Decay Glint (LE) is less warm-toned. Urban Decay Naked Flushed Highlighter (P) is less orange/peach. MAC Soft & Gentle (P, $30.00) is very similar, slightly more beige. Le Metier de Beaute Whisper (P, $30.00) is less orange. bareMinerals The Love Affair (LE, $26.00) is similar. These Skinfinishes make me so sad, because they could have done something awesome, a more natural MSF, but they’re not awesome!

This and the blush are the only things that I like and might get from Sharon’s part of the collection. Nothing else really caught my interest to be honest.

Hm, I wish this weren’t quite so orange, but that’s just a personal thing. More generally speaking, it’s a shame it didn’t perform a bit better…

Like the neutral nail polish and blue polishes, it’s wonderful that there are so many options! (Especially similar alike things) 😉

This and Kelly yum yum were only products I wanted in both collections but now im no so sure ;/ Do yo think this is worth getting Christine?? I love my MSFs but this one is looking a little disappointing now.

I feel like the highlighter part. might be similar to Laura Mercier’s Matte Radiance Highlighter (which isn’t matte, but baked/glowy). Thank you for the review, Christine–geez, that bronzer part is way too warm!
