MAC Pink Sprinkles Blush
MAC Pink Sprinkles Blush ($24.00 for 0.33 oz.) is described as a “cute blue pink [with a Satin finish].” It’s a light-medium pink with subtle, blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. Dior My Lady (002) (LE, $60.00) is lighter. Make Up For Ever #210 HD Blush (P, $26.00) is a cream product. Urban Decay Blush (P) is cooler-toned, brighter. Revlon Haute Pink (002) (P, $9.99) is more shimmery. Givenchy It-Girl Purple (P, $44.00) is cooler-toned. Tarte Dollface (P, $26.00) is slightly brighter, cooler-toned. Too Faced Lollipop (LE) is more shimmery. MAC Pure Femininity (LE, $20.00) is similar. theBalm Argyle (P, $22.00) is brighter. theBalm Down Boy (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned, brighter. MAC Stay Pretty (P, $23.50) is slightly more muted. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
This is a new, limited edition shade available online as part of MAC’s collaboration with The Simpsons, which will launch online on August 28th and in-stores September 4th. The compact is the size of a MAC Beauty Powder or Mineralize Skinfinish, so it is larger than their regular blush compacts. The powder had a soft, somewhat powdery, consistency that was a thinner, drier powder, but it was still blendable when applied to the skin. It also didn’t look powdery applied, which is where powderiness really matters. It had fairly good pigmentation, though it wasn’t quite as intense as it appeared in the pan without three or four layers of product. The color wore well for eight hours before fading.

It is a pretty colour!
Glad you liked it, Rikki!
Very pretty! It looks a little too light for me though. I hope Sideshow You turns out to be better. I don’t want to skip this collection completely lol
Fingers crossed!
This is such pretty color and the packaging!! I love this and don’t really mind the lack of pigment, sheer blushes are more fool-proof!
Happy to hear it’ll work out for you 🙂
I partially just want this for the packaging! Mac really knows how to suck people in 🙁
Haha, they sure do!
Don’t care for this for myself but I think this makes you look like you’re glowing. Very pretty!
Thanks, Danielle!
This is actually a pretty colour but seems quite dupeable or “close enough” to others. It does bring a healthy flush to the face and looks beautiful on you. The packaging is super cute as well. 🙂
I agree – a lot of the collection is dupable!
Is this similar to MAC’s pink swoon blush?
Pink Swoon is wayyyyy bluer!
I really like this color.
Do you think you’ll try to get one for yourself, Rachel?
I’m seriously considering it.
Marges face in the blush is the perfect touch. Love both blush colors they released as well as her smoldering eyes lol
I like that they included something special on the powder itself!
Do you know if they are offering Pro Discount on this line? Thanks
Sorry, I don’t get that kind of info – your best bet is to call a Pro store!
It’s a pretty color and it doesn’t look too powdery but it might be pwdery enough people with dry skin might want to skip it.
It definitely has a drier, thinner, powdery consistency that I’m not keen on – it is not terribly powdery – but the texture doesn’t feel amazing.
I been trying to find a good dupe or just anything close to the “oh so fair” blush that came out with the villains collection, is this close to it?
Nope, this is way darker.
lovely shade but awesomest packaging.. 🙂
Yay! Glad you like the packaging, Poo!
Oooh I actually adore his one! I’m pleasantly surprised by the majority of this collection actually.
Always nice to be surprised!
which one do you like better this or sideshow your blush?
They’re about equal in terms of quality. Sideshow You is a bit more pigmented. I’m not keen on either, though.
thanks for the input, is it me or lately most of their collections are lacking a bit? i remember the old days where MAC did not have collections every week, and they were amazing, pigmented and unique, lately i feel they are so similar 🙁
MAC has had 40+ collections a year since like 2008, so I’m really only familiar with MAC releasing a ton of collectiosn each year, lol!
A very pretty colour, I think I’ll skip this, there are so many blushers that’s got an A from you I’d rather have. I do like how you look wearing it.
I am a bit annoyed we don’t have Revlon here. I like the look of Haute Pink.
If it helps, Revlon’s formula is pretty shoddy for me, LOL.
It might make me feel a bit better, but I still would LOVE to have all the cheaper brands you have available here. Most of the more exclusive brands are available in one way or another online.
pretty beautiful color…
Will it be one you’ll get, Faiza?
Not unique at all. Tsk tsk. Shameful.
It’s sooo done! So, it should be better, if it’s going to be typical!
The whole coloring on your face is fresh and lovely though!
Thanks!
The name is cute – it makes me want to eat doughnuts, LOL! Or maybe cupcakes. With pink icing…
LOL!
I have a pretty dark skin tone NC45 sometimes lighter in winter, do you think that this blush (or the other one from this collection) will show up on my skin tone? Because really love both the packaging and the Simpsons but I don’t want to go trough all the hassle if it won’t even show up on me!! :0
A littttle bit, but it’s not going to be super intense!
How does this color compare to Pinch O’ Peach or Dollymix?
Dollymix is cooler-toned and a lot darker, plus shimmery. Pinch O’Peach is warmer.
How close is that color to pink swoon?
Pink Swoon is a lot cooler-toned!
Would you consider this a dupe for MAC Kelly Osbourne’s Cheeky Bugger Blush? It looks similar to me. Thanks!
Cheeky Bugger is a lot warmer! http://www.temptalia.com/submit-dupe?sbs=1&pid=173098&dupe=166000
Hey Christine! Do you think this color will work on my NC42 complexion? Thanks!
I think it will be pretty subtle!
