MAC Makeup Art Cosmetics Collection: Lipstick & Lipglass Lip Swatches
As I promised, here are lip swatches for all of the lipsticks and lipglasses released with MAC’s latest collection. I have to say that I don’t like any of the lipsticks on me! I don’t think they’re suitable to my coloring, or else the shades are just too blah. Front Lit is like Bubbles lipstick – lots of shimmer, and it’s one of those shades you use more for layering than to wear alone or to add color (instead, it adds shimmer). The lipglasses were definitely better, but my favorites remain as On Display and New Spirit lipglasses.

Mix Heritage Rouge pigment with personal taste lipglass, I wonder how that would look, or New Spirit with Cocomotion, that probably would look nice, I guess it would be nice if you like the gold look!

You have completely sold me on On Display. That looks like it might be backup worthy, since I don’t think MAC has anything else like it. Full Body is kinda nice too. Thanks Christine!

I think I may get Front Lit to layer over some lipsticks that I don’t find easily wearable.

Full Body is the most interesting of a bunch of average colours. In fact, I found the lipsticks so passable I didn’t get any. Artistic License came home instead.

They’re not similar, IMO. I’ve looked at both, and Queen Bee has a lot of orange to it.

Is On Display similar to Jampacked or Quick Tease from BBR?
It’s closer to Quick Tease, but it seems a bit deeper, more pigmented, less shimmery. It seems a little more berry.
wow! I’m shocked at how 80’s frosty some of those shades are, though I guess I probably shouldn’t be. I’m thinking about On Display myself- it looks nice by itself, and I think it will look amazing over one of the black lipsticks coming out in Style Black!
Hmm, On Display and Full Body are my favorites here, but I probably won’t end up buying anything from this collection.
Hmm… not loving Lovin’ It and that was the one I had the highest hopes for…
I agree that On Display and New Spirit are the best of the lip products! =) I agree with one of the other comments that On Display would look hot over a black lipstick.

Can any1 please tell me if High Strung is dupable with Madly Creative from Colour craft? The swatches look very similar
