MAC I’m a Lover Pro Longwear Blush ($26.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “pink.” It’s a light-medium, cool-toned pink with blue undertones and a satin finish. Tarte Whimsy (LE, $26.00) is brighter, darker. Makeup Geek Head Over Heels (P, $9.99) is brighter. Dior Rose (001) (LE, $56.00) is lighter. Urban Decay Blush (P) is more matte, darker. NARS Sex Fantasy (LE, $29.00) is lighter. Milani Delizioso Pink (10) (P, $7.99) is darker, brighter. Givenchy It-Girl Purple (P, $44.00) is brighter. Tarte Dollface (P, $26.00) is slightly darker. NARS Mistinguette (LE, $29.00) is lighter, brighter. theBalm Down Boy (P, $21.00) is lighter, more matte. NYX English Rose (P, $15.00) is darker. MAC Stay Pretty (P, $23.50) is more muted. MAC Well Dressed (P, $21.00) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The press release noted that this was limited edition, but MAC’s website is showing the three blushes from The Matte Lip collection as permanent–and the proof is in the fact that they’ll be offering pan-only versions of all three (though this shade is still “coming soon” for purchase). The Pro Longwear Blush formula is supposed to be “ultra fine, silky” with eight-hour wear and buildable color. The texture was very silky–almost creamy–and lightweight, and it was beautiful on the skin. It feels a lot smoother than the other shades of the formula I’ve come across. The color was buildable from semi-sheer to mostly opaque. On me, this shade wore well for eight hours before fading slightly.

I like the simplicity of their colour description, LOL! It looks pretty on you, and I’m glad to hear you didn’t find any of that spatula-worthy stiffness that seems to crop up sometimes. Maybe not the most unique or daring shade, but it looks like a good staple blush!

It was quite nice with respect to texture (it was nice everywhere else, too), but I really liked how it felt and looked on the skin.

This is a beautiful blush! I can’t wait to see the other reviews now. I’ve never tried a Pro Longwear blush before but this is making me want one

Yay! The blush is very pretty on you. But I am even more excited at how great power looks on your lips! The swatch from earlier was so beautiful, I will definitely be picking it up.

There isn’t a swatch on here but does anyone know how this compares to the now discontinued (I think) MAC blush in Pink Swoon? I’ll take it with me when I go to check this blush out but I’m curious as to what other people think. πŸ™‚

I’m blushing! Cheeky delights! You should see my senior pic! I always used a thin swipe of Lancone Platinum lipstick over my lip color and this was the look I rocked, like always. The pictures are so similar! Lol!!! πŸ˜€ I have a desire for blushes., it’s just out of control. I’m trying! πŸ™‚

Without having it in front of me to verify, it looks very similar to my Bobbi Brown Pale Pink blush.
The NYX Power lipstick looks beautiful on you, I’m adding it to my list.

What a pretty pink!
It looks very good on you.
I do want it, but I don’t think I need it, so I’ll add it to the evergrowing list πŸ™‚

The blushes are permanent. What about the the lipsticks? I’m just lost, the girl at the mac store told me the lipsticks were LE.

All the information I have is that the collection is LE, meaning everything. MAC’s website lists the lipsticks as LE!
