MAC Impassioned, Only in Florida, Erogenous Studio Nail Lacquers Reviews, Photos, Swatches

MAC Studio Nail Lacquer
MAC Studio Nail Lacquers — Impassioned, Only in Florida, Erogenous

MAC Impassioned Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.34 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright warm pink [with a Cream finish].” It’s a medium, orange-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was fully opaque after two coats, and it applied beautifully without streaking or pooling along the edges. It dried down to a high-shine finish. MAC Bougainvillea (LE, $16.00) is more orange. Tom Ford Beauty Coral Beach (03) (LE, $32.00) is lighter. MAC Impassioned (LE, $16.00) was ever-so-slightly pinker in the original form. Chanel Lilis (647) (LE, $27.00) is similar. MAC Oriele Orange (LE, $16.00) is more orange. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

MAC Only in Florida Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.34 fl. oz.) is described as a “midtone orange coral [with a Cream finish].” It’s a brightened, orange-coral (leans very orange, just a little pink/red in it) with a cream finish. It was very nearly opaque after two coats, and applied evenly and smoothly with two coats, but the initial coat was slightly streaky. The consistency was on the thicker side, but it didn’t pool along the edges at least. I tested this shade for wear, and it lasted for seven days and had minor tip wear. MAC Razzledazzler (LE, $16.00) is pinker. MAC Fiestaware (LE, $16.00) is more orange. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

MAC Erogenous Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.34 fl. oz.) is described as a “light milky peach [with a Cream finish].” It’s a light peach with warm, orange undertones and a cream finish. It had almost full color coverage after two coats–a little visible nail line at certain angles/lighting situations–and it applied surprisingly evenly, but it wasn’t perfect application–slightly streaky. This shade showed minor tip wear after seven days of wear. MAC Skin (LE, $16.00) is darker. Zoya Chantal (P, $9.00) is lighter. MAC Sweet Pop (LE, $16.00) is darker. MAC Pep Pep Pep (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Life & Beth (LE, $16.00) is more white-based. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I love the look of Impassioned and Only in Florida! I might check out Florida; I already have Lilis, so I won’t get Impassioned. Thanks for mentioning Lilis as a similar dupe of Impassioned, Christine!

I really like the first two, although I wish Only In Florida was a bit more wham bam in the face. But that’s just me.

I had no idea MAC did such gorgeous nail laquers – Empassioned looks so so beautiful! They look like they apply so smoothly and have a lovely gel finish!

I don’t need Only in Florida, but am I going to buy it because I’m from Florida? Abso-freaking-lutely.
It does seem that MAC has improved their nail polish formula, no?

The last two are calling my name! I love polishes that are not completely opaque and have a bit of sheerness to them… I think Erogenous would look beautiful in the fall! Oddly, Erogenous does not seem to appear on their website hum, wish I lived closer to a Mac. Actually maybe not, I’d be homeless lol

Ooh, I like Impassioned! It’s a grey and rainy winter day here, and I wish I had something bright on my nails! (Instead of the remainders of Chanel Frisson – love the polish, but the scraps are neither colourful nor classy, let’s be honest, LOL!)
