MAC Fierce Entrance Nail Lacquer ($17.50 for 0.34 fl. oz.) is described as a “rich gold bronze [with a Velvet finish].” It’s a warm, golden bronze with copper and bronze shimmer. It has a heavily frosted, metallic finish, that’s somewhat shiny but has a slight texture to it. MAC Magnificent Feast (LE, $16.00) is yellower, more golden. MAC Rich Rich Rich (LE, $16.00) is lighter, less metallic. Chanel Diwali (LE, $27.00) is less warm-toned, lighter. Chanel Delight (LE, $27.00) is lighter, less brown. See comparison swatches.

It was fully opaque after two coats of polish. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and it spread evenly and easily across the nail. It didn’t pool along the edges or streak during application. I typically get a week of wear out of MAC’s polishes. I don’t have great luck with application of a lot of shades, but their more metallic shades tend to do better–streak-free and nicely pigmented.

I agree. One in particular that came to mind when I saw this was Designer De Better by OPI.
Mac polishes are too expensive and not that spectacular.

Considering the quality of MAC polishes is less than great, or even good at times, it’s interesting that their metallic polishes perform pretty well. In my experience, many other brands’ metallics underperform and end up looking streaky with visible brush strokes. The swatches of this look great! 🙂
