Soft, finely-milled, buttery, smooth. Not powdery, not dry, not dusty.

Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows! Soooo buttery and smooth, almost like a cream shadow, and applies flawlessly! Intense pigmentation, no fallout, and incredible lasting power (like I can go 12 hours without it creasing/fading)

Like Chanel Ombrés Perlées but in all the colors, in a permanent line with maybe the occasional LE. Buttery, line-blurring, opalescent, they are my favorite and I wish I’d bought 2-3 at the time they were released. I hoard these and wish I could find similar textured shadows. I know similarly textured ones, were I to find them, likely will not have the micro-shimmer pearl effect but I love these to death and would test anything similar. Infallible are a bit similar in texture but not in color complexity or application. I’d love some suggestions…

It’s easy – Inglot Pearl shadows are pretty much my perfect texture and finish. They are so pigmented and smooth and apply beautifully, and the “pearl” finish so amazingly flattering. I compared 419 to an identical shade in my new Dior quint and the Inglot shadow was actually better on all counts!

I would love to see an amazing, true cream-to-powder formula. It would alleviate fall-out, and make initial placement of color much more precise. Aside from that, there are more than enough formulas on the market that, along with a good base/primer, do an amazing job.

I also like soft and buttery eyeshadows for the lid and crease, I prefer a slightly powdery eyheshadow on the brow bone for blending and on the inner corner to avoid a caky look from the concealer.

Buttery and soft, not overly powdery, with no fall-out, and hypo-allergenic, and actually sticking power (my eyelids aren’t crazy about make-up). I have no problem finding crease shadows, but eyelids? They rarely stay on me.
