Oh no, smashed powder! Seems like these ones are particularly fragile. Kelly (Vampy Varnish) received all of hers broken.
I just swatched these in store and bought the lipstick Let’s Mesa Around. It’s not for people who don’t like the Lustre formula, but I liked the color and sometimes reach for my MAC lustres. I was disappointed in how the palettes swatched, especially that Jade color and Marzipan. Also, I really thought I’d pick up the iridescent powder Into Eternity (thinking it’d be like the MAC “Trip the Light Fantastic Powder”). I found it to be way glittery compared to what I imagined.
As if I haven’t made a deep enough dip in my BA with this collection, now I’m lemming that cheek palette and the deep berry Make Me Mercurial Lipglass! I’m telling you, between UD GoT and this, I’ve fallen off the wagon with what was supposed to be a serious low-buy year. My bad! Not expecting to do better next month, either. Planning to get ND Sunrise and Tan & Glow in July! ?
(The cool-toned Desert Lightning palette looks FAR better than expected! MACah0lic didn’t care for it, but perhaps because of the colors, I’m thinking? She is NC40 in Studio Fix. I’m NC41 in their brand-new shade extension of Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof foundation, a little bit lighter than hers, despite the higher number!)
The cool palette is really interesting; one unnecessary bit of duplication, and a couple other colors too close to each other in appearance, but overall a really nice color story, I think. I don’t even mind the black (which I normally roll my eyes at in palettes, but it seems more appropriate than usual here).
The Desert Lightning palette appealed to me so much I have bought it when they announced it. I just tried it today and I like the shades I’ve tried so far. I guess I’m really longing for cooler toned stuff.
Quite drawn to the cool toned palette. I’m sure I have dupes among my collection, but it sure is a breath of fresh air all in one palette.
The eye palettes seem to contain lots of desert earthy tones, which I do like. Very subtle and I think that these shades would work well for summer.
I’m really loving the colours in this release they are so beautiful! But I really can’t buy anything, I washed my key fob for my car and it’s $555 to replace it, so that comes out of my fun budget 🙁

Now, this is a lovely looking neutrals collection! The lighter lipsticks aren’t my thing, but the rest of the collection is very appealing, especially the Desert Lightning Palette. I like the glosses, too.
First, love the packaging. I think it looks quite classy. I am kind of into marbling lately. Product wise, I think I will pick up lippie Natural Born Leader and Make Me Mercurial LipGlass. I like the looks of the Desert Lightening palette as it appears in the pans. Not so sure after looking at the swatches. The shades look more cool toned before swatching. I will be curious to see if they review cooler. I think they look warm in the swatches. Again, could just be my monitor which is acting up lately.
I like a lot in this collection.
Pretty packaging. I like the eye shadow palettes, I think I’d go for the cooler one if I would buy one.
I really love Natural Born Leader, it looks like a no brainer every day lipstick to me. I also like Nature Freak and Make Me Mercurial a lot. I have a thing for gold-y glosses.
I could easily buy most of this collection and be happy with it so I have to check carefully for dupes so I don’t overspend.
