MAC Cheers My Dear Pigment Review, Photos, Swatches (Archie's Girls)
MAC Cheers My Dear Pigment
MAC Cheers My Dear Pigment ($23.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “light lavender” with a frost finish. It’s a bright, lilac pink with a frosted, white metallic sheen. MAC Amethyst is more glittery and pinker. MAC Light Violet is purpler and chunkier. theBalm Curtain Call is much less metallic/frosted.
This shade is incredibly frosted and metallic–even when applied dry, the metallic finish is very pronounced. Anything with this much frost/metallic content can have a tendency to look crepe-y on lids, and this one definitely did some of that, but it wasn’t too noticeable, because it smoothed out well and didn’t cake up in places. Similarly, because it has a lot of reflection, it looks lighter applied than it does in the container. Â Cheers My Dear was rather pigmented both dry and wet, though it was pinker when applied dry. Â It binds together well, so it adheres better to the lid without a primer. Â I typically see eight hours of wear with minor fading with MAC’s pigments.

Does this look like Kitchmas?
I think Kitschmas is purpler 🙂
I love it Im so excited to see the rest of the reviews 😀 were really lucky in the uk that you review things long before they launch here! 🙂 x x x
This was also included in the Tartan Tale (’10) Cool Thrillseekers set, if people want to check their collection!
Thank you, Kate! The name sounded familiar to me but I blanked!
Christine! Do you think this could ever work as a highlight for the cheekbones & cupid’s bow?
I think it would sooo frosted/metallic. You might try Vanilla or Pink Opal instead for that!
It looks better in the packaging, imo. Way too frosted.
Hi Christine! How does it compare to Milk pigment from the Hello Kitty collection?
I remember Milk being far purpler/lavender, not really pink.
This reminds me so much of All Girl 🙂
How would you say this compares to maybe, Kitchmas?
I remember Kistchmas being a bit purpler/more lavender.
Frost!! That’s the only word that comes to my mind when I see that color!!
I used to vomit pink shades but I’m kinda loving them now. This one looks absolutely lovely in the jar but when aplied the silver/white sheen takes away the lovelyness. L’Oreal’s Naughty Strawberry is much pinker with a soft lilac sheen. If an equivalent ever makes a debut in the US, grab it!
