MAC Cheeky Bugger Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “peach brown [with a Satin finish].” It’s a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a satin finish–it kind of reminded me of strawberry milk (and I mean that in a good way, truly). Chanel Sakura (87) (LE, $43.00) is lighter, more matte. Hourglass Radiant Magenta (P, $35.00) is warmer. NARS Love (LE, $29.00) is darker. Urban Decay Overexposed (LE) is lighter. Physicians Formula Natural (P, $11.99) is more shimmery, darker. NYX Mauve (P, $5.00) is less warm-toned, more matte. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth, so it was easy to apply to the cheeks and blend away the edges for even, smooth color. It had good color payoff that could be applied with more true-to-pan color or more lightly for a sheerer look. As a note, the blush darkened on the skin, compared to the way it looked in the pan, and as I worked through the top layer, it looked more like it does swatched as it did in the pan. It’s a shade I would recommend to fairer complexions; on medium skin tones (which mine is), it just barely shows up due to the light-medium nature of the color itself (not a pigmentation issue). If you’re looking for a subtle, every day blush, it would still work well on medium complexions, but it’s a shade that may not show up well on deeper complexions. The color wore well for almost eight hours before gradually fading away.

It is beautiful, but I think this color has been seen before, I think I’ll wait for sharon ‘ s blush review, that one got my attention from the beginning.

I like this one! Looks like it would go well with my coloring (NC15, hazel eyes auburn hair). I love warm pinks!

Maybe this is the only thing I will get from Kelly’s collection.

BTW, what is the red lipstick you are wearing in those pics? Looks gorgeous!

I’m thinking this may be something that would really work for me… it’s reminding me of Supercontinental, (which I CONSTANTLY reach for) not in shade, but in depth of colour and finish… plus Supercontinental is too orange on me once I dip below NC20… hmmm! 😉

This is exactly the color I want in a blush for everyday wear. Looks really fresh and subtle, which is the effect I want. Really hope this collection will reach my local store sooner than later 🙂 Thanks Christine for keeping us well informed. Oftentimes I feel I know more about the upcoming collections than the girls at my MAC store, all thanks to your blog :))))

Okay, THIS I am still in love with. Both happy and sad that post reviews I’ll only be picking up a couple of products from this collection instead of all of them! Happy for my finances, but sad because it all looked so pretty, I didn’t want it to be so disappointing overall.

Ugh! Doesn’t look like this collection is for those of us who are darker. I’m an NC40. But it’s ok I’m still recovering from the alluring aquatic collection. (:

I love your website!! It my Go-To for swatches and opinions. But I had a question?? I have alot of blushes and was wondering this color kind of reminds me of Macs in Extra Dimension “at dusk” blush. I was contemplating buying this but if I have a similar color I think ill skip…. what do you think is it similar?? Thanks!! 😉

How is Cheeky Bugger similar to Mac Easy Manner LE? From your pictures they are very similar 🙁 I really love Cheeky Bugger but I won’t a dupe of a blush I already have. What do you think about? If they are too similar, any suggestion for another Mac blush for fair, yellow undertone skin tone ? 🙂 xx
