LYS Beauty Classy Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush ($16.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a soft, more muted peachy-orange with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish (once it dried down). The texture was creamy, smooth, and blendable with plenty of working time before it set into place.
I was impressed by how well the product applied over bare skin as well as on top of base products, as it wasn’t prone to shifting them around. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though it was blendable enough that it could be sheered out; I found a brush was the most foolproof way to avoid over-applying color. It lasted well for nine hours before fading visibly on me.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "high payoff" with a "satin-matte" finish that has a "natural flush." They were very pigmented but blendable and easy to control, so one could apply less and get sheerer, more buildable coverage, if preferred. The consistency was lightweight, thin, and had moderate slip but turned more powder-like--the "satin-matte" came through--as it was applied and blended out on my skin.
It didn't have a severe dry down, so it remained slightly movable as it dried down; it wasn't tacky or particularly dewy, so it seemed true to the "satin-matte" finish described (but wasn't so matte that it was dry or flat-looking on). They applied well over bare skin as well as over liquid foundation and set foundation. They wore between eight and eight and a half hours on me.

I love the sound of the formula but don’t love this color. I think I am most drawn to Humble, Empower and Passion as they are all in my wheelhouse. I am going to pick one of them up soon to try. I am leaning towards Humble and if I like them I can go back and get the other two. I think Empower is similar in shade to my
Dior 999 and while not a dupe, it would give the same effect.
I think you would only need a tiny amount of this product to spread on your cheeks, it is so pigmented. An excellent product and the brand has done them all really well.
The one and only one out of the three new shades of these that I’ve waiting for. It makes me think of juicy tangelos! Perfect for summer.
Iām kinda disappointed this one looks less tangerine and more run of the mill coral upon application.
