We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Not as much as I would like to. If I had the time I would love to wear it every day and be able to keep working on my much-needed skills.
I only very recently started wearing makeup again after like 3 years! Lol and I’d say I wear it 2-4x a week, depending on my mood.
I know it’s been 3 years but has CoverGirl LashBlast Volume waterproof mascara always smudged?? I don’t remember that being a problem before!
Four times a week but not every day.
I wear it 7 days a week. I enjoy wearing makeup and it’s part of my routine. I don’t see the point of owning it if I’m not going to wear it. Maybe if I was really sick I wouldn’t. I wear it at home too bc I wear it for me and not for anyone else!
Two or three days a week. That will be increasing now that mask mandates have been mostly lifted
Depends on how I feel. Since working from home, I play with lipsticks. If I watch a YouTube video I’ll get inspired and try some eye make up.
Pretty much every day! My looks are pretty simple, neutral and quick ones but there’s rarely a day when I don’t wear concealer, some eyeshadow, liner and lippie. I haven’t worn foundation since I don’t know when (even pre-Pandemic and pre-masks, I rarely took the time for foundation as it is a step I find time consuming to get “right”)
6 days out of the week. I still love it. I don’t wear anything on my face for self-care Sundays, maybe mascara and various lip products after my spa time.
Over these past two years, definitely nowhere near as often as before. And when I did, at least during lockdown and strict mask mandates, I mainly concentrated on eyes and skin. Now that things *seem* to be getting back to normal, I was starting to break out all my favorite tube lipsticks and lipglosses again in their full glory. Now that I’ve survived my surgery and pretty significant blood loss, I’m as pale as a ghost, and so I am going to get a sample of MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing WP Foundation in *drum roll” NW25 OR NC30 or 35, or all 3.
Excellent that the surgery went well. Hopefully your blood volume will come back quickly. Don’t overdo it while you build it up again. And take iron, if indicated by your doc and you may do so. And only get tads of the lighter foundations, ‘cause summer’s coming. You’ll feel and look like yourself.
Congratulations on your successful surgery!
Nancy, I’m happy to hear you are recovering. Sorry to hear about the blood loss. Definitely not fun. I’m a retired nurse so can’t help but be concerned.
Hugs.
Sue
Happy your surgery went well, Nancy! Baby steps, girl! Treat yourself well.
At least 5 days a week, during the workweek. No matter if I go to the office or work from home, I always put on makeup.
During the weekend I spend a lot of time outdoors or go hiking, so I skip makeup. But if I go to an event, like concert, opera or musical, I’ll apply makeup for that.
I wear a full face everyday but my eye looks are much simpler than they used to be. I enjoy the application and I feel better about myself.
I work 5 days a week, occasionally 6, so I do wear makeup all those days. As I tend to reserve my off days for laundry & cleaning, I rarely bother, unless I have something to do in the evening, and want to try a new product/combination.
Now that we won’t be forced to wear masks at work beginning Tuesday if we’re fully vaccinated, I can finally dust off my lip & cheek products! I’m a Waitress, so I’ll still keep a mask on hand for those who request it, but I honestly don’t think that will too often…
3 to 4 times a week, and Covid to blame for much of it. I love makeup. As the weather warms and I get out and about a little more, I see this increasing. On a positive note, I have been focusing on nailing down my fast look. For me, mature hooded eyes are the biggest time sucker so this is the area where I am learning to satisfy myself with less is more.
I wear makeup every day unless I am really not feeling well or going in for surgery. In the morning I spend the time with my coffee and my music and my makeup to start my day right. I enjoy wearing it, and I enjoy applying it.
Same! I love applying my makeup with a cup of coffee and either music, or if I’m following a youtuber who is reviewing/using something I’m interested in then I’ll pop in an earbud and apply makeup while listening to someone talk about makeup. It’s ridiculous, but it sure feels like a nice treat every morning.
Weekdays for work. On the weekend I rarely wear it unless we’re going somewhere.
Every. Single. Day! No matter what is happening or going to happen in my day – I have my full face on!
You go, Genevieve! There is something to be said for sheer routine and the energy of always putting your best self forward 👍
Everyday! Even if only mascara and lipstick!
Everyday unless I have the flu or cold that would keep me in bed. My little ritual is fast and fun. Eyeliner. Powder foundation. Bronzer and lipstick. Once in a while I’ll do some eyeshadow or face contour but usually and everyday it’s five products and out the door!
I’m retired and don’t always need to go somewhere every day anymore. So now, I tend to only wear my eyebrow makeup and some bronzer if just staying home. My eyebrows were plucked thin in the mod 60s. And now, with age, my brows have lost most all color they had in the past. I think I look scary without brows! I ended up in the hospital for 3 days, and then went for 2 weeks to an extended care facility. First thing I asked for was for a friend to bring me an eye brow pencil!
I do my skin care however, every AM and PM even if I stay home. Some days when staying home, I will follow my skin care with a tinted moisturizer. Hard to find a good one after my last 2 were retired. Going to try Bobbi Brown’s soon.
I only wear makeup if I’m going out so usually three or four times a week, sometimes just a quick eyeliner mascara look then other times a full face depends what s happening.i
Every day, unless I’m feeling particularly sick. If I’m running late, I’ll do part of it before I leave and do the rest once I get to work!
I always wear some lippie but don’t do full face every day. I’m intrigued by the Fenty face pallet. I may pick that up. It looks like a great way to get snatchural. Also experimenting with cream shadows since eyeshadow tends to melt off as the weather is warmer.
I work 4 days a week so that is when I wear makeup. If I’m going somewhere on a day off sometimes I’ll wear it and sometimes I feel like playing with it and trying new things on those days.
Every day. I love makeup. Drawing my face on every day with different colors, trying new techniques, honing old ones, etc… I just love it. Putting on makeup is MY time and I indulge in the experience as best as I can.
Lipstick is one of my true loves and I apply one every. single. day.
Even though I went into a permanent remote working status 2 years ago I still wear makeup at least 5 days a week, I find that keeping my “office” routine at home puts me in the right mindset so I still dress, do my makeup and my hair. I sometimes wear makeup on weekends, depends on my mood.
