LYS Beauty Brave Aim High Pressed Highlighter Powder Review & Swatches
Brave
LYS Beauty Brave Aim High Pressed Highlighter Powder ($19.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a bright, light-medium gold with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was smooth to the touch, soft but almost crumbly when I worked with it, so I’d recommend using a lighter hand and tapping off excess if you prefer a sheerer, more buildable level of coverage. This helped prevent over-application and gave a smoother finish on my skin.
It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. It seemed to “melt” slightly on my skin, so it did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

The product is supposed to be buildable with a "superfine" texture that doesn't have "chunky glitter." They had more semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation initially, which could certainly be diffused or used with a lighter-hand to achieve more buildable coverage. The texture was firmer, though not dense or thick, and did seem to have a more finely-milled and finer pearl throughout.
That being said, the actual result on skin was moderate in its glow; it did not emphasize my skin's natural texture (which has not been a big issue for me; most highlighters do not, though a few do, so for me it's infrequent that it occurs but possible) but there was enough visible pearl/shimmer that it might still accentuate skin with more visible texture. It just didn't have the texture and sheen of the more forgiving powder highlighters I've tried in the past.
These wore around eight hours on average on my normal-to-dry skin applied to my cheeks as a highlighter/blush combo (I like doing a larger area, as it gives me more area to inspect!).

Because I have PML Bronze Nectar and Estee Edit 14K Glow, I know that I don’t need this. So, that’s some $ saved.
Very pretty gold shade, but the crumbling aspect doesn’t sound too good to me.
