Lisa Eldridge Myth Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss Review & Swatches
Myth
Lisa Eldridge Myth Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss ($23.50 for 0.15 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red-berry with cool undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer of product, which applied fairly evenly and smoothly across my lips.
The consistency was smooth, plush, and more like a gel-like cream, which gave it a more cushion-like feel that was comfortable to wear. It wore nicely for five hours and felt hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$25.00/0.15 oz. - $166.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be a "medium to high pigment gloss" (depending on the shade; most are "medium" pigment) that leaves lips feeling "soft as silk" and hydrated. The consistency was more like a creamier gel, so it was comfortable, spreadable, and felt cushiony on my lips without being tacky or heavy. The coverage varied from shade to shade but ranged from medium to opaque but tended to be in line with how each shade was intended to be.
The glosses applied fairly evenly with minimal settling into my lip lines--the kind that is visible in the close-up photo but not in person. There's a lot of shine to them, which gave the illusion of slightly plumper lips, and it seemed a touch smoothing over time (an hour or longer). The formula was really comfortable and hydrating to wear, and it was one of the more hydrating formulas I've tried in awhile. There was no fragrance or taste.

So disappointed to find microplastics yet again in a new product 🙁 would have expected more from Lisa E….
It doesn’t make any sense to me anymore why anyone would want microplastics in a lip product as you’re inevitably going to ingest said product and thus the plastic. In this case it’s the Ethylene copolymers.

I’d wear the heck out of this one! It is pure berry joy. An added plus? My two 80% dupes are both in that Nars Velvet Lip Glide formula that my lips hate for some reason. If they didn’t, I’d have used both shades up by now.
what a pretty color and finish!
Oh, be still my heart. Love at first sight. So shiny, so berry, so gel like. Looks wonderful on the lips and doesn’t sink into lip lines. Now, will it bleed up into my upper lip lines? I will make it work with a wax pencil. Love it.
Oh dear, what a lovely gloss! I now regret not buying it.
You look radiant in the photo, lovely look!
Thank you, Helene!!
