According to the brand, it’s supposed to be a “long-wearing, buildable” highlighter that gives a “natural-looking” glow. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (to mostly opaque) with a texture that was slightly dry to the touch, but it still had a very smooth, blendable consistency that sat well on the skin. I really expected this to emphasize the natural texture of the skin, but once blended, it produced an illuminating sheen that was moderate rather than metallic. I think this would work really well paired with a slew of blushes to brighten and add sheen. I noticed signs of the powder fading on my skin after eight hours of wearing it.

You look radiant, gorgeous!
Thank you! 🙂
I’m not 100% sold on these pink hilghlighters with my pale olive skin tone but this looks lovely.
I bet you can find one that will work 😉
Hi Christine! I love a really obscene highlight (I practically bathe in the NARS Copacabana liquid Illuminator). Do you think this product is buildable to that level of shine? Thanks 🙂
Obscene? No, I don’t think so, unless you use it damp!
Very pretty! I love the whole look you have going on here. Very Springy!
Thanks so much, Nicole! xo
It certainly looks less sparkly on than it does in the swatch!
I was surprised!
It’s a sparkly one!
It is!
I have to tell you, I absolutely love your entire FOTD you did here! It’s do perfectly springy and fresh!
As for this highlighter…Even though I am medium olive, I would love wearing this! Sometimes I will do an unnaturally light cheek. Yesterday, for instance, I wore Colourpop Rain topped with Monster. It looked oddly radiant and beautiful due to it having a well blended contrast!
Aw, thank you so much, Nancy! 🙂
Ooooh, that sounds like a gorgeous combo! I have both CP Rain and Monster, need to give it a try.
Oh yes, Katherine, do try it out! What’s so weird is that last summer , I really HATED Rain on me. It looked too cool-toned and light, so I *almost* tossed it away. Glad I didn’t, because using it with Monster made it work waaay nicer!
Given that UD Aura is less sparkly and also costs less, I think I’d prefer it but this looks lovely. Christine, do you have it all over your cheek area (cheekbone and cheeks, in place of blush) or all over your face? (I see you also have Guerlain setting powder so I’m just curious about the best way to use this to look glowing, as you do, rather than like a disco-ball).
Just on the cheeks – not as a full-on blush – I focus on the cheekbone and then blend down a bit so it doesn’t look like a strip of shimmer!
Your entire look is amazing!
Thanks, Deborah!
I like this one a lot better, but I would still worry about the sheen. Just LOVE that lipstick Christine.
Thank you, Genevieve!
This looks lovely; very subtly radiant; exactly the way i like it. I would wait for ur reviews on the other 3 highlighters before deciding which one would suit me the best.
I think I like this one even better than the goldy one you reviewed the other day. I will get me to a LM counter very soon! These need swatching, and I might just go away with one of them, breaking the ban.
