Lancome Gold Lights & Rosegold Lights Click & Glow Highlighting Skin Fluids Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Gold Lights
Lancome Gold Lights Click & Glow Highlighting Skin Fluid ($23.00 for 0.08 oz.) is light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a pearly sheen. It had sheer to semi-sheer coverage that applied without issue to the skin, though I felt like it was easiest and fastest to work with fingertips for blending over a brush. The consistency was thin, a little mousse-y, and dried down so the wear was longer (seven and a half hours) but gave me enough time to work with it first.
The formula is described as buildable, though it is designed to give skin a “barely-there shimmer” and a “natural-looking glow.” It has a more unique, foamy, sponge-tipped applicator to disperse and apply the product, which I wasn’t in love with (did not seem to do well at blending, building, or doing anything other than transferring product from the interior to my face) and seemed to soak up quite a bit of product. The formula wasn’t as thin as a typical liquid highlighter, though it wasn’t thick or heavy either; almost like a watery mousse. I had the best luck blending with fingertips, which maneuvered and spread the product without lifting it. They dried down within a minute or so, and the wear time was between seven and eight hours. I’d describe the glow as light to moderate as the coverage was buildable from sheer to semi-sheer. Worth noting, the pen delivery system does not contain that much product, particularly when we’re talking about liquid highlighters.

Rosegold Lights
Lancome Rosegold Lights Click & Glow Highlighting Skin Fluid ($23.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a medium-dark, golden copper with warm, reddish undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer to medium, buildable color payoff that applied evenly and smoothly to the skin. I had no trouble blending this shade out, and I felt that brushes and fingertips worked equally well here. The texture was lightweight, thin but had some substance, and distributed well across the skin. It lasted for eight hours on me before fading.

The fuzzy caterpillar applicators are back! I think they also released these 2 colors in a cream-to-powder formula
LOL!
I’m not sure I’m a fan of the pen delivery system for highlighters, but these colors are both very pretty!
It is a weird choice!
Pretty colors, but I’m not into the plush-tip applicator.
I hear ya!
The both look pretty, I like Gold Lights a bit better, but I’m not going to buy either of them. I would have assumed the spongy like tip to be for blending if I had bought one and would probably have ruined my makeup 🙂
These are easy skips!
Again I LOVE the tone, and shades of these!! but I hate the applicator!!!
Your eyes look stunning here by the way Christine!!
Thank you, Shannon!
This is gonna sound weird; I really love both shades, but I despise everything else about this product! From its AEFUL foam application thingy to the skimpy amount per $. However, I am now raring to go to get Colourpop Might Be and Estee Lauder Naked Truth on my next payday! So that’s *why* I say weird, because this review sold me 2 utterly different must-have, future HG goodies, LoL. Sorry Lancôme….?
LOL! The applicator is really a miss, I think!
So pretty!!! I’m on a makeup diet. The Chanel plisse lumiere should be my last purchase for a while… key word “should” lol.
Stay strong, Yadi!
This is gorgeous! The delivery system and colours are quite something and I really want to get into this type of highlighter!
Hope you can try it sometime!
Lancome has really been into the highlighting trend lately, they’ve released a cream, a cushion, a rose, and now those liquid highlighters in less than a year! And I’m not even counting their weird biphase liquids form last year’s summer collection.
I really don’t think I’d like the applicator (how do you not pick up foundation on it?), so I’ll stick with the cream Glow Subtil that seem to be in the same shades anyway. I’d say they have a nicer finish as well.
It definitely gets gross-looking after we a few uses, lol!
