Kevyn Aucoin Rose Cliff The Neo-Blush Trio Review, Photos, Swatches
Rose Cliff
Kevyn Aucoin Rose Cliff The Neo-Blush Trio ($38.00 for 0.20 oz.) blends to create a medium pink with warm undertones and a faint, golden sheen. It was richly pigmented used together or individually with a luminous sheen that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. If you’re someone who loves a pinky-coral, this is a good way to achieve the effect as the middle and right shades are pinker and the left shade is more orange, which makes it easy to control how warm the overall blush effect is. For a more gradient-like application, I recommend starting with the center shade on the apples of cheeks, then using the left shade to highlight and lighten on cheekbones, and finally using the right shade to deepen almost as a “contour.”

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.2 oz. - $190.00 Per Ounce
Each trio includes a mix of pearl, satin, and matte blushes that gently "fade into each other" with a "micro-fine pressed powder" that feels like "silk" with "intensely pigmented color." The shades can be used individually or swirled together, per the brand. It is easiest to use the blush half-and-half or altogether, but a tapered highlighting brush can fit into each of the three sections without much fuss. The texture was, generally, soft and blendable with pigmentation that varied shade by shade but was usually more pigmented than not. It was harder to keep the matte shades truly matte as once I used the blush together, it was hard to completely remove any residual shimmer from the matte shade(s).

Rose Cliff #1
Rose Cliff #1 is a light-medium, peachy orange with warm, golden undertones and a frosted sheen. The finish was noticeably shiny but didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It was richly pigmented with a soft, blendable texture that wasn’t too soft or too firm in the pan. The blush stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

Rose Cliff #2
Rose Cliff #2 is a medium pink with warm undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, but the texture was soft and blendable, which made it easy to pick up less product or diffuse and sheer out the color on my cheeks for less coverage. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading on me.

Rose Cliff #3
Rose Cliff #3 is a rich, medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin sheen. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly to my cheeks. The powder was soft, moderately dense but not stiff or firm, and blended out effortlessly. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours on my cheeks.

I bought this one and I absolutely love it!
This is one of the few products that makes me speechless when you review it.
Whoa. Going on the wishlist.
Well this is certainly pretty!
This is so damned pretty in the pan it just makes me want it! However, I am on a HARD no-buy for blush until I use up at least four blushes. (So basically forever.)
I think I have only seen a good amount of pan on a blush once, and it was over a decade ago when I only owned ONE blush so naturally used it with everything… and still never finished it.
The only blush I have ever hit pan on is Orgasm.
Ha! I definitely understand! I actually have a lot of pan on my Clinique Nude Pop right now and I also have three ColourPop SS blushes, which have less product than most (I did finish one last year), so I think I can finish them all up. But it’s not going all that quickly. I actually go through products quite slowly since I have a light hand but I really want to reduce the number of stuff I own!
Girl, pan and blush really do not belong in the same sentence. Just don’t go whole hog on colors that are dupes. But, if you love it, go for it. Bec you will use the hell out of i.
I love all these new Kevyn Aucoin blushes!
My favorite thus far, and it’s “Temptalia Recommends”! What draws me to this is that I love all 3 shades alone *and* mixed together. An added perk is that this would work so well with my coloring and style, too.
I am so thinking about this one although I am suppose to be on a no-buy for blush. This is just beautiful, all the shades will work for me and it is a Temptalia recommends. I just couldn’t go wrong. I am going to try and talk myself off the ledge now, LOL.
Beautiful!
This is GORGEOUS. If only it weren’t made in China 🙁
(I’m avoiding for environmental and human rights reasons aka insanely filthy coal powered power plants and not paying their workers enough.)
I love the gradient blushes and these rosy shades are definitely rosy!
