Inglot x Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadows Reviews, Photos, Swatches
J401 Silver Dollar
Inglot J401 Silver Dollar Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light, silvery lavender with warmer undertones and a silver-to-gold shifting sheen, which tended to look warmer to my eye (most of the time) when I wore it. Despite having quite a bit of larger sparkle in it, the loose powder was finely-milled and soft enough that I could use it dry by pressing and packing the color onto a small area. It was easier to use it with a dampened brush, though, and this minimized fallout during application as well as later on during wear. It definitely added a strong, metallic sheen and could be built up from sheer to opaque coverage. The color stayed on well for eight hours with slight fallout over time.

Formula Overview
$25.00/0.07 oz. - $357.14 Per Ounce
The Pure Pigment formula is supposed to have a "high-gleam glaze" and allow you to "customize the intensity of the coverage." For those who enjoy using loose eyeshadows, I suspect the formula will be comfortable to use--it is best applied using fingertips, dampened brushes, or over a lightly tacky base to improve hold and help the loose pigment bind together, though it can definitely be used dry/loose through patting and pressing motions. The coverage was buildable as described--it could be sheer or opaque depending on how much was applied and how. In general, I find using a dampened brush to be the most effective and easiest way to use loose pigments like these, as the dampness helps to bring the powder together and help it adhere more smoothly to the lid. For more robust wear, you'll still want to use a tacky base or a fixing spray (like Fix+) that has some adhesive properties to minimize chance of fallout.

J403 Ethereal
Inglot J403 Ethereal Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish-plum with warm undertones and pink and gold sparkle over a metallic finish. It could be applied sheer or opaque, depending on application as well as how much was applied–very in line with the description of the formula (see “formula overview”). The texture was soft and finely-milled enough to be blendable and workable on the lid, though it was definitely very sparkly and had a strong, metallic impact on the lid. It wore well for eight hours with slight fallout over time.

J409 Cosmic Glow
Inglot J409 Cosmic Glow Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a soft, peachy copper with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The pigmentation was buildable from sheer to opaque, depending on application and whether it was applied in layers. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable on the lid and the sparkles seemed to be a bit flatter, so it was easier to apply to the skin without getting a lot of fallout (when used dry). It wore well for eight hours with slight fallout over time.

J411 Blazing Rose
Inglot J411 Blazing Rose Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a soft, peachy brown with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. It was fairly pigmented, even when I used little, so it was the least buildable shade in the range–it seemed to have a very strong base color compared to the other shades and wasn’t quite as metallic. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and blendable on the lid whether I used it dry or damp. This shade stayed on well for eight hours with little fallout over time.

J405 Celestial
Inglot J405 Celestial Jennifer Lopez Pure Pigment Eye Shadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light-medium mauve with subtle, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture wasn’t quite as finely-milled as other shades as this seemed to have larger, chunky sparkle and lots of it, which gave it a very pretty effect but made it harder to apply dry without getting a ton of fallout. It was better to use it with a dampened brush, which helped more of the product adhere smoothly to my lid, but there was still some fallout. This shade lasted well for eight hours but had some fallout over time.

As pretty as these are, I know I would never use them.
Inglot has done a sterling job on these fabulous shades – to keep these sparklers from having massive fallout is a testament to their formulas. They are beautiful shades, with a stunning effect. Love them.
I love Inglot‘s pigments in general… They are SOOOO high impact!
Silver Dollar is quite unexpected, given the pot color. Just might make it into my next Beautylish order. Better than the dupes…
Right?? I was like, “Wait, did I label it wrong??” but there’s no pot at all that looks like it *should*, lol!
I kept looking and back and forth thinking I was mixing up two colors.
I love the glowy sheen on these. But I just don’t reach for loose powders enough to justify that price-tag.
Silver Dollar is a lavender-gold confection! Just such a decadently delicious color shift! ?
Celestial is so pretty.
I love Inglot’s AMC Pigments! Especially the flaky ones that are Duochrome. So I will for sure buy 2 of those from this collection. I agree that they’re harder to put on the eyes but with the NYX glitter glue it’s super easy and the effect they give is breathtaking ?
I bought Silver Dollar and use it as the most beautiful highlighter<3 But it doesn’t read lavender on me at all!
I swatched these in store and they were really beautiful, very sparkly! I thought these were the most interesting things in the JLO collection
Dumb question, but where do you find these in store? Does Inglot have storefronts?
I’ve always like the INGLOT formula of pigments but they are expensive and I’ve always put them back even during IMATS (but it’s only 20% off). Maybe this year I’ll get some more.
I’ve been eyeing Silver Dollar since the PR buzz. *_*
They are!! And adding JLO to them made these super pricey. I just never thought of Inglot as expensive, but after buying some of the products from the JLO arm/collection, I have to reposition them in my brain!
Their $18 to $21US and $23CAN for the regular ones.
The j-lo ones on The Inglot website are $26CAN though so not as massive of a price jump. 😉
These are absolutely beautiful.
