Huda Beauty Mystical, Fearless, Moody Lip Strobes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Mystical
Huda Beauty Mystical Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a brighter, medium lavender with warmer, pink undertones and cooler, lavender sparkle. It had sheer coverage (and was supposed to have semi-sheer coverage) that applied evenly on the lips. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and forgiving on the lips as it made my lips appear smoother. This shade wore well for four hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.
The Lip Strobe formula is supposed to be “sheer to full coverage” depending on the shade and can be worn “alone or layered.” Per the brand, the semi-sheer shades are: Posh, Enchanting, Ritzy, Snobby, Shameless (sheer base), Mystical, and the full-coverage shades are: Boujee, Saucey, Foxy, Fearless, Moody (Angelic’s coverage was not described). The formula has a lightweight feel, lightly creamy as it goes on initially but has a lightly tacky texture overall. The gloss spread well across the lips and had fairly even coverage with minimal settling. The wear ranged from four to five hours with a lightly moisturizing feel. There was a faint, sweet vanilla scent but tasted a bit soapy to me.

Fearless
Huda Beauty Fearless Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a rich, medium-dark purple with hints of warm, plummy undertones and gold pearl. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which wasn’t the full coverage that was promised, but it applied without streaking, at least. The texture was prone to settling into lip lines slightly, though I did not notice it from a normal viewing distance. The consistency was lightweight with some tackiness but it was thinner while still being smooth and spreadable. It wore well for five hours on me and was lightly hydrating. The color was very unique, and while imperfect, ended up being one of my favorite shades.

Moody
Huda Beauty Moody Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a dark purple with warm, plum undertones and fine multi-colored pearl. It had good color coverage–just shy of full coverage–that applied evenly and spread easily across the lips. My Fearless is opaque and much darker as well as more purple. But mine has almost no gold reflects! Wish I had gotten the one you got. Thanks for your review. I hadn’t thought to try Moody but I love your swatches of it.
Hm, I didn’t do anything special, but maybe move the applicator around a bit in your tube?
I tried. I tried shaking it. I even tried using a separate charcoal applicator to dip all the way in and woosh it around. 🙁
Sounds like there’s a problem with the batch! 🙁
Yes. I’m not the only one that received a “sparkleless” product. 🙁
Fearless is gorgeous!!
Agreed!
Moody is killer! I need to go check that out!
Isn’t it? A really cool shade!
I have Fearless and Moody coming today! As soon as that UPS truck rolls by, I’m running for the door!
So excited!
Fearless and moody are my picks!! They’re beauties!!!
I’m interested in these!
Great picks, Shannon!
Moody! OMG!
😀
Fearless and Moody were my top picks from your sneak peek. Though dark shades like Moody sadly aren’t flattering on me anymore, I’m sure I can rock Fearless. I’m glad it got a decent score, and didn’t settle into lip lines too terribly. I have and love several pinks with gold pearl, but no plums. It’s a more unique shade for sure! Moody is too.
Fearless is such a cool shade!
Moody and Fearless are going on my wishlist. They’re gorgeous.
They are!
Christine, I’m in the same boat as Michele! I just got Fearless today, and it’s a LOT more purple than yours, with no gold shimmer, none!!! I’ve swatched it on my arms and lips, and looked in different lights and angles, nada. And yes, I’ve tried shaking the tube and stirring the contents, no luck 🙁 I’m thinking of mixing in my BITE Gold gloss (yes, that cray glittery disco ball one from holiday 2016), to see if that will do the trick, but the color is definitely not as pretty as yours. IDK, I might be returning and hoping I get a better batch. But my Foxy, Shameless, and Moody are all like yours, but I was most in love with Fearless, boohoohooo
Hmm, I would try contacting wherever you purchased it from, because it seems like it should have shimmer so if there is legitimately no shimmer in a batch, the company needs to deal with that!
What gorgeous shades! And even though I wouldn’t wear Moody – I do love the colour.
Moody is so neat!
I’ll take 3 please, all 3! Love me a good purple or lavender lip when it’s done properly. And these are killin’ it! Especially Fearless and Mystical! ???
These are a nice grouping!
Wow, Fearless and Moody are stunning. I don’t generally go for these types of products but I am seriously considering those two. They look amazing on you, Christine.
Thank you so much, Deborah!
Fearless is so unique! I really like it!
Fearless is my favorite even if it didn’t get the top grade in the group.
Fearless ❤️❤️❤️ ! I cannot wait to get my hands on it! What a unique and beautiful Shae!
