Hourglass I Want Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy brown with warm, orange undertones and a satin sheen. It was richly pigmented and yielded opaque, even coverage in a single layer. The texture felt lightweight, creamy enough that it glided on with ease but did not slide around when worn. It lasted for four and a half hours on me and felt lightly hydrating.
The formula is supposed to have “creamy, saturated, longwearing color with a satin finish.” It’s a light-medium thick formula that was typically opaque with a lightly creamy texture that glided on without tugging but did not slide around while worn. The majority of shades had a natural to satin finish, and they lasted anywhere from four to seven hours with light hydration. The best performing shades were light to dark while the lightest and deepest shades weren’t quite as consistent.
The lipstick can be purchased with the full packaging/applicator for $34 or as a refill-only for $22. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that covered the lips evenly and without streaking. The lipstick was creamy enough to glide across the lips without tugging but not feel slippery when worn, so it stayed on for a solid four and a half hours and did not gather in my lip lines. It was slightly hydrating while worn.

I curious if the refills works without the gold outer packaging? They are a whole 30% cheaper in the CAN price so that might be where I buy most of the shades if they can work solo.

Yes, the refills are totally workable on their own – they will feel cheaper/less stable since they are incredibly thin, but the cap clicks closed over the refill so they really are standalone products, IMO.
Sometimes I like so many in a line..I almost wanna say to heck with it and not buy any…but that doesn’t make much sense! Lol

Favorite out of this batch? If Only! But would still go for its $5 dupe instead. Not just because of the price, but CP Faded looks more rich and smooth on the lips. Not sure if CP still has it, though.
