For fall, Guerlain has revamped their powder blush formula, and the new formula is supposed to create a “veil of ultralight texture that’s buildable and easy to apply for a subtle wash of color.” There are six shades available, and this is other of two shades that I received to test (I reviewed Morning Rose yesterday). It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color payoff, so it seemed true-to-description with some buildable coverage, but it was a “wash of color” in one layer. The texture was soft, smooth, and a little dusty, but it sat well on the skin and didn’t look dry. It’s not overtly shimmery, and I’m unable to detect any particles of shimmer, just a delicate sheen. On me, the color wore well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably around the edges. The only thing to keep in mind is that this is designed to be sheerer and buildable, so if you prefer one-pass opacity, this may not be the right formula for your preferences.

Ooooh, yes, this is definitely my kind of pink! 🙂
Yayyy!
It’s very dupe-able, but gorgeous nonetheless. And I always love looking at Guerlain’s elegant packaging
They do know how to make lovely packaging – very unique!
Love this shade. And I don’t think I have anything quite like it in my collection. Don’t have many corals really. Very tempting…
Good thing there are lots of options for coral 😀
It’s okay. But, I am not seeing anything to special enough that makes me want to plop down $56 for it! Plus, I’m overflowing in blush at the moment. I’m passing. Thank you for the honest review as always.
My pleasure, Nicole! I feel like Guerlain should knock it out of the park with their blush formula, but I just haven’t loved this and the last iteration.
Hey Christine, sorry for a second comment on this post. I was trying to find your review Tom Ford’s Cocoa Mirage quad. I can’t seem to pull it. Have you reviewed that?
I haven’t! I only just got it!
Oh..ok..I’ll await as patiently as possible. That gives me a reason to wait then and go for Viseart first.:)
This one is pretty too!
It is!
Very pretty on you Christine. It looks lovely.
Thanks, Genevieve!
Well, this one shows an improvement in its intensity compared to the one from yesterday! And it has a lovely glow to it, too. But….so dupable that it’s just not funny. So me thinks I’ll be looking into a $20 something, or heck, maybe one $6-8 for this type of shade!
There are plenty o’ dupes to choose from for sure!
I’m so excited for Fall collections! This blush looks nice. I’m liking the wash of sheer color. I feel like it looks more natural with the skin peeking through. Stacie xo
Glad you’re digging the sheer formula of these!
normally,I love buildable brushes more than pigmented brushes but with this price point somehow I expected them to be more beautiful than just a normal pink coral brush.I really wish them to have a sheen of gold pearl like they said tho!
I can totally understand that expectation! 🙂
I love the color!
Yay!
