Givenchy Beige Mousseline (101) Le Rouge Lipstick
Givenchy Beige Mousseline (101) Le Rouge Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “light beige.” It’s a light-medium, peachy-beige with soft, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had full, opaque color coverage, and it applied smoothly and evenly. It wore well for four hours and was somewhat hydrating. MAC Antonio’s Girls (LE, $15.00) is slightly pinker. Urban Decay Naked 2 (P, $22.00) is a touch browner. Edward Bess Forbidden Flower (P, $32.00) is warmer. MAC Sweet & Sour (LE, $15.00) is lighter. NARS Biscayne Park (P, $25.00) is browner. MAC Yash (P, $15.00) is more matte, browner. MAC Wholesome (LE, $15.00) is less peach. MAC Cozy Up (LE, $15.00) is similar. Burberry Pink Apricot (301) (P, $30.00) is darker. See comparison swatches.
Beige Plume (102) Le Rouge Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “peachy beige.” It’s a light-medium, coral with beige and a natural finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage, but the consistency of this shade had more slip than others, so it didn’t apply as evenly as others. This shade lasted four hours on me and was somewhat hydrating. MAC Antonio’s Girls (LE, $15.00) is less pink. MAC Gotta Dash! (P, $16.00) is warmer. Chanel Peregrina (P, $34.00) is darker, shimmery. MAC Reel Sexy (LE, $15.00) is similar. MAC Coral Bliss (LE, $15.00) is pinker. See comparison swatches.
Brun Createur (103) Le Rouge Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “dusty rose.” It’s a medium, warm-toned rose–almost like a rosy, but muted, coral–with a satin finish. This applied beautifully with full color coverage that made lips look smooth and full. It wore well for five and a half hours and was nicely moisturizing. Â Too Faced Coral Fire (P, $21.00) is slightly warmer. Urban Decay Liar (P, $22.00) is a touch browner. Urban Decay Protest (P, $22.00) is similar. NARS Dolce Vita (P, $25.00) is more matte. MAC Elegant Accent (P, $22.00) is pinker. See comparison swatches.

Beautiful colors!
I especially like the first one, thanks for posting!
My pleasure, Emma!
Oooh Thanks for reviewing the nude range in this formula, Christine. So of course, I want all of them. 😀
I FINALLY HAVE THEM ALL! *grabby hands* So you shall see the rest soon! 🙂
Cool, I’ve been waiting for this! Thank you!
Yay!
Your Rose D’Exception review made me buy my first Givenchy lipstick and I must say the packaging, the opaqueness and the smell, and of course being the perfect rosy nude, it is perfection! Now this post makes me want to get more, the last two colors especially!
I’m thrilled that you are loving Rose d’Exception, Bengisu! Nothing pleases me more 🙂
Thank you for your great reviews, my beauty consuming life became so much easier since I found you! Though I’m not that sure if me wanting anything I like in here is a good thing. lol
Aww <3
These all look great on you! I’ve always been impressed with givenchy’s formula whenever I’ve tried their lipsticks on at sephora.
Have any particular shades caught your eye, Greta?
Gosh Christine 102 & 101 looks very good on you…you look fresh n young.
Thanks, Bre!
Brun Createur just looks brown on me. Weird!
Interesting!
I think I may need Brun Creatur even though I recently got UD Liar and am completely broke. I love all of these, though the first two would be too light on me.
Aww, if you have Liar, I’d probably try another shade, just so they’re different! 🙂
You’re probably right, but it’s such a perfect “My Lips but Better” colour for me, that I wouldn’t mind having a few dupes.
Totally understand. You know, like I have 400 corals and they all look alike 😉 I get it!
Love the packaging of these. They look stunning on u Christine!
Thanks, Lisha! xo
Beige Mousseline needs to be combined with heavier eye make-up for me, but Brun Createur looks seriously pretty!
Oh, I bet it would be nice with a smoky eye.
I’m usually not a nude junkie, but this post excites me FAR more than it should.
Haha! 😉
Beige Mousseline is my go to everyday lip color. Love this range of lipsticks, such a great formula and the packaging makes it even better! I recently picked up Grenat Initie and Brun Cachmeire is next on my list!
Woohoo! Happy to hear you’re loving Beige Mousseline 😀
These shades won’t work well with my coloring, but they look really pretty. The application must be the smoothest, I bet. The lipsticks seem like they glide on like butter. Gorgeous, Christine! And have a Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
They have a really great consistency/texture – like they usually make my lips look nicer than they really are!
These are all ridiculously flattering on you! You need to wear Beige Mousseline with a really dark smoky eye, it would look so cool.
Thanks, J!
Brun Createur is really nice! That is definitely my type of shade.
It’s such a great everyday color!
These Givenchy lipsticks all look so great, the shades are gorgeous, I really need to try them out!
You definitely need to try ’em, Erika!
omg i love nude lipsticks…I really want to try a high end one. right now from the drugstore the one that looks best on me is a rimmel kate moss lipstick the nude one. but for some reason most nudes are way to brown for me, its the only one i found that doesnt look muddy. can you recommend a nude that has a slight pink tone, and maybe one with a little peach. i have a porcelain skin tone and have black hair, if that helps.

Thanks a lot. 🙂
Oh, boy. How do you think 101 would look on NC42-43 skin, Christine? Shades like Freckletone and Mocha look so frosty on me
It’s lighter than Mocha, maybe a smidgen lighter than Freckletone – not as warm-toned, though. My guess is if you don’t like Freckletone or Mocha on you, you won’t like this one!
Thanks! The packaging is lovely but I’ll have to skip it. Think I’ll use the $ for another shade or a nice Tom Ford one.
Beige Plume and Mousseline look like wonderful nudes! I just love this formula so I’ll definitely be checking them out!
wow each one was better then the last as i scrolled!! I want all of them. Lately im all about nude, pink and purple!!!
Awesome 😀
The first one is a gorgeous peachy brown. It appears very light on you, but may be perfect on my very fair skin. The peachy brown family is my best color in everything from lipstick to eyeshadow, I guess it picks up the red in my hair and pulls it together with the fair skin and hazel eye. They’re not easy colors to find, thanks for reviewing these. I”ve never had a Givenchy lipstick before, I’ll have to check them out!
My pleasure, Ellen! Let me know if you get a chance to try ’em – I’d love to know your thoughts!
I love these, the formula, the packaging and the colours! Can’t wait to see the rest of the shades on you 🙂
What are your must-have shades?
All of them look so good on u 🙂
Thanks, Tara!
The Beige Plum and Brun Createur look lovely! I have both MAC Coral Bliss and NARS Dolce Vita, though. Would getting these colors from Givenchy be worth it, considering I’m around 1/2 to 3/4 done with Coral Bliss and I’m quite fond of Dolce Vita?
…BTW, I haven’t bought lipstick that isn’t from MAC, so I’m really hoping to try a really good brand if I actually take the leap! 😛
Worth it in the case of Coral Bliss, since that was LE. Dolce Vita is permanent, though I think it’s a sheerer formula, so you may find this is a nice change!
Great, thanks for the reply! 🙂
Loved all the three. I think I am going to have all the three 😀
These lipsticks look amazing. I want all three of them!
