Giorgio Armani Cruise & Glow Lip Maestros Reviews & Swatches
Cruise (531)
Giorgio Armani Cruise (531) Lip Maestro ($38.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a darker, slightly muted, reddish-plum with moderate, warm undertones and very fine, reddish pearl throughout a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips as the texture was fluid, creamy but not overly slippery as it had a slight “film” that hugged my lips (but not in a clingy way). It lasted well for six hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.22 oz. - $172.73 Per Ounce
The consistency has more slip and a velvety-smooth feel that softly “clings” to the lips, so while the finish has a glossier look for the first few hours, the color stays on well. If you’ve ever used a silicone-based primer, there’s a bit of that feel to the formula overall. Most shades last between six and eight hours on me, are non-drying to lightly hydrating, and comfortable to wear. The formula is unscented and has no discernible taste.
The Lip Maestro Notorious formula is supposed to have a “luminous matte” finish with “8 hours of wear” and “high pigment.” The Notorious shades are inspired by “chic Hollywood glamour” but otherwise appear very similar in feel to the original Lip Maestro formula.

Cruise (531)
LELimited Edition. $38.00.
Glow (532)
Giorgio Armani Glow (532) Lip Maestro ($38.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a darker, brownish-plum with moderate, warm undertones and multi-colored pearl throughout. It had a more shimmery finish than most Lip Maestros, and I have found that more shimmery shades often have a translucency to them that other Lip Maestros do not. This shade had semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without emphasizing my lip lines due to its more velvety, lightly creamy texture. It stayed on well for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Cruise is gorgeous. I do have PMG beautiful creature which will have to do.. I wish I wore my lipsticks more which would allow me to justify purchase(s).
Cruise is a stunner! Simple everyday shade, but that little bit of shimmer transforms it into something just a bit more juicy and glamorous.
Both of these are really gorgeous shades for all year round wear – especially now that masks are coming off. I think I like Cruise the best out of the two – that bit more colourful.
I love Cruise. So pretty. I haven’t purchased a new lipstick in forever, it feels like. I am headed to the big city next week so may have to see if I can find it. I don’t need a new lipstick but I haven’t purchased any makeup in a while and I feel the need to just get something new!
