Fenty Beauty Rose (4) Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette ($25.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a pink-hued color story that features three matte shades, two shimmer shades, and one glitter shade.
Shimmers always seem like the easier type of eyeshadow finish to make, but Fenty’s matte eyeshadows actually out-perform their shimmers in general. These mattes were pigmented, blendable, and wore seven to eight hours, but the shimmers were fussier. The glitter formula had a lot of room for improvement as it was only usable packed into a small area as blending it out resulted in glitter everywhere, though the glitter (when packed on) didn’t have much fallout/migration, which was a surprise.

Sleepova
Sleepova is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had excellent pigmentation in a single layer with a soft, smooth texture that was a smidgen powdery in the pan but wasn’t prone to fallout nor did it sheer out too readily on my skin. It lasted nicely for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

There were a few distinctive formulas used throughout the palettes in which the eyeshadows are housed, but generally, they were decent eyeshadows that were buildable, fairly blendable, and had decent wear, but I felt like most of the shimmers were thin, a little dusty, and had a tendency to look less shimmery once applied (almost a faded quality to them).
The matte formula was most consistent and had semi-opaque to opaque color coverage that went on fairly evenly and blended out without too much effort, though some deeper shades took longer to diffuse or went on patchily initially and had to be diffused and blended out to a more even application. The wear ranged from seven to eight hours on me before they showed signs of fading.
The shimmer formula was typically thin, dusty, and more prone to sheering out or looking somewhat "faded" and less shimmery after a few minutes on my lid. There were a few shades that seemed to have a denser, thicker formulation that offered greater intensity in its shimmer finish but had light fallout and looked thicker on the lid, so they did not layer as well with the other shades (which were thinner). Sugashock is a deeper pink with moderate, warm undertones paired with a frosted finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff that adhered well to bare skin, though I felt like there was a bit of fallout during application unless I used my fingertip or a dampened brush to apply it. The consistency was soft, a little thicker in the pan, but it picked up well enough with a brush. It stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

Lil Miss
Lil Miss is a brighter, medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The texture was thinner but not too dry or difficult to pick up, and it didn’t have fallout so it was easier to work with than its texture indicated. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Spice Trip is a muted, medium-dark brown with warm, rosy undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, somewhat powdery with light fallout during application if I wasn’t careful. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to full opacity with a second layer. It blended out easily and lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

Stunt Queen
Stunt Queen is a medium-dark copper with warm, reddish undertones and flecks of pink and gold sparkle. It seemed more shimmery in the pan than it did applied; it was like the shimmer faded away during application and looked more like a satin to pearl finish (at best). The consistency was smooth to the touch but dense and drier, which might have accounted for how it translated. It had decent coverage but didn’t blend out that easily. It stayed on well for seven hours before I noticed signs of fading.

Diva Feva
Diva Feva is a medium-dark, coppery red base with a moderate amount of finer glitter throughout. The glitter didn’t bind as well with the base pigment, so the application of the glitter was best applied by patting and pressing it into place without blending. Blending out the product resulted in a fair amount of fallout and an uneven application of the glitter (though the base color seemed to stay in place).
I was surprised that it only had minimal fallout/migration over time as it didn’t seem like it had a lot of adhesive qualities to it by touch. It is a shade that I would, if I ever used it again, I’d use with an adhesive base to ensure that the glitter stayed in place better, though. The base color had semi-opaque coverage and stayed on well for eight hours (ignoring the glitter).
This shade includes PET glitter, though it is listed as an eyeshadow with the palette having an eye icon on the back and no warning/disclosure to mitigate that. For those curious or concerned about glitter use and safety, please read my post: everything about glitter.

Too pink for me, too iffy in the performance end of things, too. Plus knowing of your personal experience with Diva Feva, I wouldn’t want this palette.
Though the shades are right up my alley, the performance, lack of some more neutral transition shades with enough variety in depth and the glitter issue, makes this an easy pass for me.
I have this palette and I’m not even a huge makeup-phile, and I’ve found it to be surprisingly wearable! It’s something a little different than my everyday neutrals but not too much for daytime. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it.
I think Nancy has summed it up pretty well. A cohesive palette but the hero shades performed poorly and contained too much glitter.
Disappointing that Fenty hasn’t really been able to knock it out of the park with their eyeshadows yet. A pass on this one.
