Fenty Beauty Fussy Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer Review & Swatches
Fu$$y
Fenty Beauty Fu$$y Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer ($18.00 for 0.30 fl. oz.) is a medium pink with soft, warmer undertones and lighter pink and gold pearl. It had semi-sheer coverage with a tint of warmer pink enhancing the natural color of my lips while adding a light-to-medium level of “coverage” from the finer pearl.
The consistency was smooth, lightweight, non-sticky, and plush, which made it comfortable to wear. It wore well for three and a half hours on me but was very hydrating. The gloss didn’t settle nor did it emphasize my lip lines, which was a major plus.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.3 oz. - $70.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a “peach-vanilla” scent (I’d agree–sweet, lightly fruity) and be “conditioning.” It was designed to be worn alone or layered over other lip products. The consistency was very smooth, light-to-medium in weight, non-sticky, and comfortable to wear. It had a plusher consistency that helped it stay out of most of my lip lines. The shimmer was moderate but noticeable, and it distributed evenly across the lips. They last about three hours on my lips but are hydrating.

I just bought this and have been wearing it the last two days. Love glosses in the winter with dry lips! Glad it got an A in your book!
Since she always gives us such excellent lip glosses, I know that I will eventually pick this one up. The OG is my favorite “throw in my bag & go” lip gloss formula ever, with PMGL Aliengelic tied in 1st place.
This one looks very pretty, but it’s an easy pass for me. I have the Fenty Universal Gloss Bomb and I never use it. I don’t like the scent or the texture.
I was so excited for this when I saw your preview promo pic. I was hoping for full coverage or close to it, so I’m sad this doesn’t really add much coverage. Thank you for review.
The whole line is sheer as far as I understand!
Oh, I guess I didn’t realize that. I did know the last one was more sheer, but I thought the OG one was more opaque.
Nope! You can see my lip freckle quite well through the original. Fu$$y shows it less!
Ahh, I just noticed the “Lip Luminizer” part after Gloss Bomb. Now the sheerness makes more sense, like a face luminizer! 😉
There is something I’ve wondered about for some time.
How can a product be sheer and still score high in pigmentation?
Pigmentation is based on what the brand claims – if it is supposed to be sheer, and is sheer, then it is meeting the pigmentation claims being made.
This is really beautiful. I’m glad it isn’t milky.
A really pretty pink shade and a lovely finish.
I’m so happy I bought this. It’s really pretty and gives you a beautiful natural juicy look. Very fresh. I have the other two because I just cannot help myself and they feel great on and give me that fresh faced look
Had to get this and was so underwhelmed. It looks like nothing on me.
I have the original shade and love the formula so much I bought this sight-unseen on the day it launched! I’m so glad I did, it’s so pretty and has the same great formula.
I love how, unlike most glosses which can soothe my chapped lips in the moment but either don’t hydrate or even dry my lips once they wear off, this formula is actually super moisturizing and soothing. Great for winter, for sure.
I was also afraid the shade would end up being too similar to the original, but I can definitely see a difference on my lips! I hope they continue to expand this line slowly over time like they have been.
I wish I liked the fragrance of this – this color is up my alley 100%.
I have all three Gloss Bombs, love them all and it’s the only gloss I wear. I honestly didn’t believe that the original was truly universal but it actually is. I’m very fair with cool undertones and my friend is medium-warm and it looks great on both of us. My only issue with Diamond Milk, the 2nd one, is the doe foot applicator picks up any lipstick color you apply it over and I need to clean it before putting it back on the tube.
The latter happens with every doefoot I’ve ever had for any brand for me (so I don’t do it – I usually put the gloss on the back of my hand or on a metal plate). Happens on the original as well as the others for me, but it could be related to what you’re putting it over? e.g. if it’s over a red, it would be more obvious vs. beiges/peaches/pinks.
Glad I waited. I’m underwhelmed.
I have the original which I like and am tempted to pick this one up. However, am I the only one that feels the large doe foot applicator delivers too much product? I feel like i always end up with way too much on my lips that I need touch up, which is holding me back from buying Fu$$y.
I’ll probably pick it up when I use up more lip glosses. Its definitely my favorite formula and much more affordable than other glosses at sephora.
Very pretty! I might have to pick it up.
This is so pretty. I have the other two, & I love them. So good for my dry lips. I will eventually pick this one up too.
I can’t wait to pick this up. I have about 1/4 left in my tube of the original. It’s my absolute favorite gloss, and I collect glosses and wear them all the time. Looks beautiful! I am a die hard Fenty fan so I want to pick up Diamond Milk along with this.
