Too Faced Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($30.00 for 0.19 oz.) is described as a trio of “shimmering mauve pink,” “golden peach,” and “shimmering magenta pink.” Swirled together, it creates a brightened, medium pink with subtle cool undertones and a warmer, golden beige shimmer for a soft, frosted finish. Tarte Crave (LE) is less shimmery, warmer. Giorgio Armani Eccentrico (LE, $88.00) is lighter. Too Faced Raindrops on Roses (LE) is a touch lighter. theBalm Frat Boy (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, warmer. Guerlain Blush G (LE, $65.00) is lighter, slightly warmer. MAC Star Wonder (LE, $23.50) is darker. See comparison swatches.

The Sweethearts blush is a baked formula, which Too Faced says “allows it to truly work on all skin tones–the blush can be applied as a beautiful buildable finish.” The size of the blush will allow you to apply all three together, or you can lean a little more towards the left (warmer) or to the right (cooler). To use them individually, you’d have to use a really small brush, so it’s not practical for most. The color was buildable, and the deeper pink shade is fairly intense, so fairer skin tones will want to pay attention to how much they apply or else tap off excess product on the brush (even soft brushes pick up a lot of product). However, because the texture is powdery, it is prone to sheering out more than it is to building up, so pat on for more intense color before blending too much–oilier skin types (or apply over liquid foundation just before it fully dries down) may not experience this as much. The texture is powdery–you’ll want to use your softest blush brush to minimize the excess that gets kicked up. On the skin, it doesn’t look powdery, though, and it only slightly emphasized pores, while it wore well for six hours before showing signs of fading–both of those traits are common to baked formulas, in my experience.

I really like the Too Faced blush I bought earlier this year. I haven’t had much trouble with it being too powdery. I love this new berry shade, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it or the peach one either. Although I love everything that’s heart-shaped, the Too Faced blush takes up a lot of room and it’s not portable, so I am unlikely to add another to my collection. Wish they’d come out with mini versions!!

pretty look, but pass on the blush. So glad to see the Chocolate Bar palette in action on your eyes. I’m definitely grabbing this palette and prefer it for me over UDNaked3…which was tempting until I saw the Muse review on same.

It’s such a lovely color! But it’s not berry, more like, peach? Also, is it just me but it reminds me of Tarina Tarantino’s Parasol?

Won’t be buying this though, I’ve had enough problem making my blush stay in my face 🙁
