Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Neutral?
Last skincare product you finished? I honestly can’t remember!
Next skincare product to purchase? Not sure since I’m stocked up right now.
How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? I think it could be better, but I’m happy with the serums I’ve recently added into my routine. I’m terrible with a night time routine, I’ll say that. That needs some work.

Next skincare product to purchase? More Ocean Salt!
How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Yes, for the most part. I’d like to try more eye creams and take better care of my eye area though.

How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? I wish I’d find a good routine to help me with the excessive oil production and the impurities…

My skin tone is fair/olive toned
The last skin care product finished: Rosacea Control Serum by Skin Actives
Next skin care product to purchase: another Rosacea Control Serum (actually, I have repurchased it
as I don’t like to be with out so I have back ups)
I am very happy with my current skin care regime which includes almost exclusively Skin Active
products that I have been gradually trying out and adding to my regime. The first product I used
from this line was the Rosacea Control Serum. It worked so well that I decided to try a few other
of their products. I do use a few things from some other lines as well. I am always searching for
a good sunscreen that works well under makeup and gives me adequate protection. I am currently
trying out one from BeautyRX. It seems to work very well but it is terribly expensive. I am thinking
about trying out one of their bioglycolic lotions so that may actually be my next skin care purchase
since I already have my Rosacea back-up.

Next skincare product to purchase? Probably some kind of hydrating mask.
How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Relatively happy. I’m combatting done winter flakies and need to incorporate hydration, but my oily areas are under control, which is nice.

Skintone/coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.

Last finished: Garnier BB Cream. From what I’ve read, alot of people don’t care for this one, but I don’t need heavy coverage & I have dry skin, so this works for me. It’d be HG if it had a higher SPF…

Next purchase: Philosophy Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Retinoid Eye Repair. I just got a deluxe sample at Sephora, but I will buy the full-size when this runs out. I never had really obvious issues around the eyes, but after using this, there is a noticeable improvement.

Happy?: Yes, for the most part; I should put more effort in my morning routine, though… I have a very thorough evening routine, so in the morning, I just tend to apply toner & moisturizer/SPF, and makeup at some point, but I should have a complete routine.

I also went almost completely “natural” about 2 years ago, and my skin has really benefited.

Last skincare item used up – quite a few, Bioderma Sensibio, Avene thermal spring water and Clarins cottonseed cleanser
Next item to purchase – Estee Lauder ANR nearly done with my current bottle. Also Aesop parsley seed mask.
How happy am I with my current routine : quite pleased, after adding a couple of hydrating cleansers my skin is much more clear and supple. The heroes for me are ANR, pure rose water and clinique moisture surge intense with occasional toning.

●Your skin tone/coloring: Light Neutral NC20ish
●Last skincare product you finished? Sisley Supremya serum
●Next skincare product to purchase? Obagi NuDerm system
●How happy are you with your skincare routine right now?
I’m 50 years old and Obagi NuDerm is an aggressive anti-aging program recommended by my dermatologist. I’m going through a rough time in the initial phase right now which is typical and expected, but I’m definitely not used to having my skin look like this. I’ve been very careful to ease my way into the program and for the first 2 weeks, I thought I was going to get away with very little reaction at all. Uhhhh, yeah right, not so lucky now and I have these red like pimple looking things on my nose, chin, forehead and outside of my cheeks. I seem to wake up everyday with a new one. My skin is also rough looking and peeling and dry in places, again all typical reactions, but it is a bit of tough sledding. I purchased Obagi “Hydrate” with my the line and it is helping at least keep the worst of the stinging, itchiness, and dryness at bay during this adjustment period. I elected to go through the program due to my pigmentation issues which seem to be much getting worse with age. The skin on the outer perimeter of my face has been damaged from my years of riding and getting reflecting sun back on my skin from the bright sand in riding rings. I’ve been lucky and do not have many wrinkles, but certainly noticing my eyes and outer corners of eyes are getting crinkly.

Despite the ugly parts, I am seeing some big improvements already in the texture and look of my skin. My pores are completely invisible and the parts that are not reactive are getting glowy. The few very noticeable dark spots I had are starting to fade and my face colour is actually starting the resemble my neck and chest. So, I’m hunkering down and sticking with it and expect to be through the worst of the reactive phase in another 2 to 3 weeks..

FYI: I am using the sensitive skin program and protocol with hydroquinone in concert with a prescription for Tretinoin which has been prescribed by my dermatologist. The tretinoin is combined with one of the products in the program, Blender, and the combo of hydroquinone with RetinA is considered to be the cornerstone of the program. Aiming for totally gorgeous skin by spring time 😀

Next skincare product to purchase? I’m trying to decide between Cetaphil SPF30 Daily Moisturizer and Bare Escentuals SPF20 moisturizer. I really liked the latter for moisture, but I like my SPF as high as possible.

◾Your skin tone/coloring: NC15/fair redhead
◾Last skincare product you finished? MAC Lip Conditioner (tube)
◾Next skincare product to purchase? The MAC lip conditioner and maybe another Obagi Clear
◾How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? yes. I use Obagi’s Nu Derm line and I’m satisfied with it. My skin is smooth, acne is gone (after breaking out horribly with the Obagi Vitamin C serum), and my pigmented areas are lightening. I had to adjust my makeup, especially primers and foundation with the Obagi as my skin is drier than it used to be. I have a little flaking this time of year, but nothing that a little scrubbing with MAC’s Volcanic Ash exfoliator and some moisturizing cream can’t fix.

Last skincare product you finished? Antipodes Apostle Skin-Brightening & Tone Correcting Serum

Next skincare product to purchase? I would love to repurchase the above mentioned as well as the Antipodes Immortal SPF 15 Face & Body Moisturizer which I’m going to finish soon.

How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? I was very happy until I started using the Neutrogena Tone Correcting Night Concentrate. It broke me out and dehydrated my skin very much. Now, I need to add a heavier cream and a gentler toner to my day routine.

How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? I love it because it didn’t cost me a dime! I’m using a combo of cleansers from Biore and Sibu, Lancome DreamTone or Faced Serum (I alternate), Olay BB Cream or Innarah VenoDefense (with Olay/CoverGirl foundation)…and it was all free! I love social media and blogging! 🙂

How happy are you with your skincare routine right now?: It’s alright, but I currently have a few zits. I’m not sure if it’s stress-related from finals week, or if I need to introduce some acne-fighting products into my current routine. Also, I need to find some products to really hydrate my skin and fade acne scars.

NC 20 (or so), on week 13 of Obagi Nu Derm and it was the best money I ever spent on skincare. No pores, fewer lines, spots have gone away. I look like I am wearing makeup when I am not. I started with the travel sizes, finished them and ordered the full size. I will continue using Obagi products.

Last skin care products finished was Ole Henriksen Truth Serum (mini).
Next skin care products to purchase will be Truth Serum (full size). I will also try one of his moisturisers, I really liked the serum, and I will probably also try Illamasqua’s Hydro Veil as well.
I am still seeking good skin care products so I am not completely satisfied.

Fairly happy at the moment, though I always seem to want to tweak it.

I am super happy with it. Finally got my balance right and I know what my skins likes, what it doesn’t like and what is not effective on my skin. Took 2 years to sort out my skin routine. I have a plethora of skin products ( I rotate about 3 different cleansers, 2 exfoliator/brighteners, and 2-3 different moisturisers. I have 3 serums and 1 treatment oil. 2 main facial sunscreens and 3 eye creams. 3 regular masks. OMG I am a skin freak!

Next skincare product to purchase? I really want to try the Origins APW moisturiser with SPF 25, but it’s not available in Australia 🙁
How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Not overly! I’m always changing things up, but as I’ve realised I can’t tolerate drugstore skincare, changing things has become somewhat more costly!

◾Next skincare product to purchase? Arbonne – FC5 Night Cream and RE9 corrective eye cream
◾How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? I LOVE my skincare! I’ve searched forever for remedies for my dry skin and Arbonne did it! I still try other things for now, but my skin and hair care soaps/lotions are all Arbonne.

Julia Avatar

Also, just want to say I DON’T sell Arbonne. I just buy it because it works so well. It used to be rare that I would finish, let alone repurchase, a skin care or shampoo item. Nothing has ever worked like Arbonne to make my skin perfect.

Last skincare product you finished? Paula’s Choice RESIST Antioxidant Serum

Next skincare product to purchase? I think some kind of mask / treatment for blackheads and clogged pores. Neutrogena used to make a great one that I used in conjunction with pore strips and it really cleaned out my pores, but I haven’t been able to find a good replacement for it. Also, full size versions of Pacifica day cream and foam cleanser. I like the way they smell and feel.

How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Fairly happy – I use Purpose cleanser and Cetaphil moisturizer with SPF in the morning, and Paula’s Choice RESIST line at night mostly – but I think my skin looks dull, so I would like to find something to help with that but doesn’t exacerbate my oily, acne-prone but aging skin.

◾Next skincare product to purchase? Just got it, actually. Algenist’s Black Friday Duo, the Firming and Lifting Cream and the Firming and Lifting Serum ($95 for the set, instead of $94 and $98 respectively)

◾How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Pretty happy. I’ve been transitioning to the Algenist line from Clinique, but still do use the Clinique 3 Step and Repairwear Night Cream. For exfoliation, I love Laura Mercier’s Skin Polish, but use the Facial Radiance Pads when I’m feeling lazy.

Next skincare product to purchase? I haven’t decided on which, but I’d like to try a moisturizer by Lancome.
How happy are you with your skincare routine right now? Not so happy. I decided to take a risk and try Paula’s Choice products. Since using them my skin has been reacting poorly and looks worse than it did before using Paula’s Choice products. I’m hoping when Christmas rolls around I purchase a new skincare set and give these away for free!
