Candy
Estee Lauder Candy On Hi-Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with cooler undertones and a lot of white frosted shimmer. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly across the lips. It had a thinner, clingier feel on the lips, though it was never uncomfortable nor was it drying (it was lightly hydrating, actually!). The color wore well for just over four and a half hours on me.
The formula is supposed to have medium coverage with a lustrous finish. It takes the Pure Color Envy formula and adds shimmer to it with the end result varying from lightly pearlized to more frosted and near-metallic. The shimmer was finer in size, so the lipsticks did not feel gritty on the lips, and the particles didn’t migrate as the lipstick wears down. The coverage was more semi-opaque to opaque, though a lighter hand could achieve medium coverage. . It was lightly creamy with some slip that became more noticeable as the formula warmed up against the lips. The wear ranged from four to six hours and was typically hydrating. The formula featured a vanilla scent but had no discernible taste.

Formula Overview
$32.00/0.12 oz. - $266.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have medium coverage with a lustrous finish. It took the Pure Color Envy formula and added shimmer to it with the end result varying from lightly pearlized to more frosted and near-metallic. The shimmer was finer in size, so the lipsticks did not feel gritty on the lips, and the particles didn’t migrate as the lipstick wore down.
The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to nearly opaque, so it really depended on the shade on how true it was to medium coverage. The formula felt lightly creamy, thinner but not clingy, and with just enough slip to be comfortable to apply and to wear without feeling slippery during wear. The shades lasted from four to six hours and usually hydrating while worn.
The formula had a vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Blush Tease
Estee Lauder Blush Tease Hi-Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer, so not what I’d call buildable, but the color went on fairly evenly. The texture seemed more emollient and slightly heavier/thicker in feel compared to others in the range–more like a cross between the Hi-Lustre and original Pure Color Envy Sculpting ranges. It wore well for four and a half hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Cali Coral
Estee Lauder Cali Coral Hi-Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, coral-orange with warm, gold pearl paired with a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff that went distributed color evenly, though there was a touch of streaking along the edges due to the more emollient consistency. It had enough slip that it was easy to apply and comfortable to wear, but I could feel the color move a little more for the first two hours of wear. This lipstick stayed on well for five hours and was moisturizing.

Of this trio of pretties, I really like Cali Coral quite a bit! Not that I intend on getting it in the very near future, but down the road possibly.
Now on to the other 2, Blush Tease is gorgeous, which is probably why I’m duped up to the gills with similar shades. Candy? Oh how 80’s!
There are some nice colors in the new shade extensions!
Now I’m going to have I want Candy stuck in my head.
Haha!
I think I like Cali Coral! ME Liking a coral!? WOW!
Wow! 🙂
Cali Coral is very pretty. It seems to be a good formula for dry lips like I have.
It’s a very comfortable formula to wear 🙂
These colors are all so beautiful, perfect for spring and summer. I’ll probably get at least one, maybe more!
