It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which could have applied a bit more evenly, though it didn't settle noticeably (in person) into lip lines, which can be issue with more emollient formulas like this one. The consistency was lightweight, thin without being clingy, and balmy, so it was comfortable to apply and to wear. It lasted nicely for three and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.
