The formula is supposed to have an “ultra-silky” texture that gives a “healthy-looking glow” and a “rush of fresh, radiant color.” The press release is more specific and says it’s supposed to have “buildable dewy color that lasts all day.” According to the brand, the blush formula is a reformulation, but I don’t have any shades in the previous formula to compare to (and it’s been awhile since I last tried one, so all I can say is that they feel, in general, a little smoother). The texture was smooth but thin, and it was harder to build-up coverage to more than medium, even after a few layers. I didn’t have any trouble blending out the edges or evening out the color, but this is a shade that is best suited for someone who prefers sheer coverage out of their blushes. The color lasted for seven hours on me.

It’s funny that I actually really like this one! Not so sure it would show up on me, though? It looks really fresh and “real”, like when one has been out in the fresh crisp cool air….something lacking out here of late, LoL!

Right?!? The weather peeps really LOVE to lead us on out here! I’m still wondering what happened to the El Nino winter we were *promised*, haha!

Christine, I think you may have linked to the wrong pictures on the post — All the pictures are labeled “Mauve Mystique” and they’re different from the ones shown on the Audacious Plum product page on the swatch gallery.
