Dior Golden Glow (003) Diorskin Nude Luminizer Review & Swatches
Golden Glow (003)
Dior Golden Glow (003) DiorSkin Nude Luminizer ($48.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium gold with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had opaque pigmentation with a smooth, dense consistency that was firm to the touch (no powderiness!) and was best used with a moderately dense highlighting brush (I used a slew of tapered ones with the formula just fine). The highlighter applied evenly and smoothly to bare skin, blended out with ease, and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It seemed a smidgen lighter than the shade in the previous formula, but on my skin, it was hard to tell. This shade lasted well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$50.00/0.21 oz. - $238.10 Per Ounce
It's a new line of powder highlighters that are supposed to give the "face a multidimensional glow" with a "high concentration of shimmering pigments." It's an update on their previous Luminizers but with lighter-weight packaging (and no included brush, which wasn't anything to write home about anyway!) and a lower price.
The ingredient list seemed to be the same, and by touch, they seemed to be nearly the same--I felt like the updated version seemed a smidgen drier/more firmly pressed but it was barely noticeable and a couple were a little lighter/darker swatched but may simply have reflected more or less light in the particular shot as there was little difference on my skin. They had medium to opaque color coverage that applied well, lasted for eight hours, and blended out easily. The texture was denser, smooth to the touch, but firmer (so no powderiness) but require a moderately dense brush and/or medium hand to pick up product.

This shade looks so natural on you, I love it!
Thank you, Liza!
I’m surprised how different this one is to the original DIOR #003 DIORSKIN Nusw Air Luminizer in shade. I might actually want this shade as it’s lighter. š
This formula seems smoother in texture to the original and less shimmery.
Now I’m really curious about the 002 shade.
I think the difference isn’t quite as noticeable in person as it appears in swatches (partially due to the current state of my arm skin and partially with how highlighters reflect light back different based on angle + lighting).
Very glad to see that Dior didn’t muck this redux of their winning highlighters! Well, at least not this gem of a shade, anyway.
Not that I need it, having ABH Amrezy. I still view this one as a beauty!
Amrezy is a good dupe!
Not sure if this would be a good colour for me but WHAT a BEAUTIFUL powder! I think I’ll check it out next time I’m at a Dior counter.
Good thing there are five other shades!
This shade is so beautiful, really lovely.
It is!
Becca moonstone or dior 003?!
If you want a higher shine/more metallic glow, Moonstone will do more.
This looks beautiful on you. I was able to try it on at Sephora. I love it! And, I have tried many highlighters. I also have a few, but none like this. Going to order this, or get it when I go to the mall.
So happy to hear you loved it when you tried it on, Janice! Did you try any of the other shades?
No, not yet. But, I see a few others I would like to try the next time Iām in Sephora. But, that gold one, it just melted on my skin!
