The TruBlend Blush formula is supposed to be blendable and create a “multi-toned result.” The texture is very soft and smooth, though it is a little on the powdery side; it tended to darken on the skin, but this seemed to ensure that it didn’t look dry or powdery when applied. It is, as described, easily blended and effortless to apply. The finish is really flattering on the skin without being too shimmery or too matte. The downside is that the more powdery texture makes it harder to build-up the color (it’s semi-sheer to semi-opaque), and it only lasted for six and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Sounds and looks pretty good for a drugstore blush!
Definitely!
The foundation and lipstick look lovely on you in the full face shot Christine =]
Thanks, Charmax!
This color is cute! I like a light, yellow toned pink.
So happy to hear it!
I love this color–a natural looking pink. The packaging is pretty cute, too!
It’s a pretty hue!
$10 seems like a lot for DS blush, feel like Colour Pop is a better deal and better formula. But it is a dupe for Tom Ford Frantic Pink, and will probably perform better over primer and foundation.
MAC So Select looks like a great MLBB color. Oh and curious to see your thoughts on those L’Oreal Mono shadows!
I’m sure you could find it on sale!
It’s very pretty in color and finish! Too bad about the wear time, but those of us who place blush over primer and foundation might be able to extend the wear time. I haven’t bought a CG product in yearsss.
That should help! 🙂
I noticed your eye look, and loved it! Then I realized it’s my go-to neutral look, except with a cooler taupe crease color, & Sephora Flirting Game eyeliner!! I hope you have time to review the loreal eyeshadows. Mademoiselle Pink & Pan au Chocolat are the two I own, and I’m loving them so far!!
Pretty colour and sure enough, I have two dupes in Golden Gate and Prim! Shows how much I like this shade lol.
I keep hearing raves about this one. It is very pretty.
Very natural looking, but between the really poor weartime and that it doesn’t build up into something more pigmented are deal-breakers for me. Plus the fact that on my NC37-40 complexion, this may only appear as a highlighter? Wish it was actually buildable!
As a side note, in case anyone is wondering, I didn’t forget to login. When I bought my new phone yesterday, the dude didn’t synch my Google acct to it, so I literally cannot access any of my email or even have my email recognized in order to login. Cricket can be a PITA!
It looks really lovely and as a DS blush, it performs quite well. Beautiful on you Christine.
It’s a pretty shade. Although I think my next purchase is going to be the Tarte foundation you’re wearing. Your makeup looks flawless.
When did CG get so expensive? I haven’t bought anything from them in decades but still… seems like a lot. The blush is pretty tho.
Too bad this didn’t perform better, although it’s not a good color for me anyway! There seem to be quite a few drugstore-price-level blushes that perform really well nowadays, it seems like the competition has gotten stiffer!
I’ll admit that I can be pretty snobby when it comes to drugstore cosmetics – I think it’s the cheap packaging that puts me off – but this is such a beautiful shade! And I think I can live with the B- rating for a $10 spend, so I may pick this up. Thanks Christine 🙂
LOL…I have no interest in this as a blush BUT this is exactly the color scheme I was trying to find for my living room (dark coral base, light peach sponged on top). I’m actually going to take Christine’s page to Home Depot and find a peach that matches this blush. 😀
Not bad for drugstore! It’s not Milani or Nyx but it’s not bad!
