ColourPop Tasty Super Shock Cheek

ColourPop Tasty Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “candy coloured coral with multi-dimensional pink and copper duochrome.” It’s a slightly muted, medium orange with a pink to gold shimmer-sheen. ColourPop Bonus (P, $8.00) has a similar color but is matte. NARS Frenzy (Right) (P) is more shimmery, lighter, powder. Makeup Geek Summer Fling (P, $9.99) is less shimmery, powder. MAC Modern Mandarin (P, $21.00) is darker, powder. Sleek MakeUP Pink Mint (P, $6.99) is powder. Fyrinnae Nordic Angel (P, $6.50) is less shimmery, powder. Chanel Presage (62) (LE, $38.00) is brighter, less shimmery. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

It was richly pigmented and applied with full coverage when tapped on with a fingertip, but you could apply even less or simply blend out, as it blends effortlessly on the skin. You could also use a stippling or duo fiber brush to get sheerer coverage with little work. I find the Pearlized finish to be extremely forgiving, and it is very hard to overdo as a result. Though it appears slightly frosted when swatched heavily, as it is blended out, the finish becomes more of a pearly sheen, and as a result, it is actually one of the subtler shades with respect to the finish. I can see a definite shift to pink as I turn my head in the mirror, so depending on the angle, it can look more or less orange-coral. This shade lasted for eight and a half hours on me before fading.

Love this one TOO!!! I have got to narrow down these ColourPop highlighters to just 2 or 3, and 2 blushes….somehow? VERY difficult to decide which ones because they are really super gorgeous and apply so seamlessly and effortlessly.

I am so glad you reviewed this one now! I got this one just the other day and I wasn’t quite sure how to apply this-as a highlighter or blush. It’s that fine line shade kinda. I assume you are wearing this as a blush in the photos, correct? Which method of application did you use in this photo? Sorry for the barrage of questions.:D This looks great on you! I
